A tour of Hollywood, 'Crossroads of the World,' featuring such star frequented spots as the Vendome, the Lakeside Golf Club, the West Side Tennis Club, the Santa Anita Racetrack, the Ambassador Hotel's Cocoanut Grove, the Biltmore Bowl, and the American Legion Stadium.—Anonymous
This is a tourists view of Hollywood, from the time the visitor arrives on the train at Union Station, till the round of the shops, the show places and the eatries is made. And a glimpse of a movie studio. The journey starts driving along Hollywood Boulevard, lunch at the Brown Derby. Then a visit to the Crossroads of the World, the famous shopping center of the cinema capital. A quick shot of the athletes at the golf and tennis clubs and also a visit to the Santa Anita racetrack. Finishes with a visit to a movie studio and night jaunts to the Biltmore Bowl supper club, the Cocoanut Grove and the Friday night fights.—Les Adams <longhorn1939@suddenlink.net>
