This series is about Eva Höök who moves from Stockholm with her son Lasse to Luleå because she is the new head police of Länskriminalen in Luleå.
Eva:She and her son Lasse stays with her brother Ingemar who lives in Lueå because the family is from Luleå. Evas husband is dead since ten years ago. Through the series Eva has a flirt with Johan Ek.
Lasse: Lasse have had it though in school. He has being bullied and outside since forever. When he starts the new school they are supposed to do a group project but no one wants to be with Lasse so he goes on his own, making a project about horror movies. After a few weeks, a new girl named Sara starts in Lasses class. She has also moved to Luleå from Stockholm. Except from Lasse who doesn't care where he live, Sara hate it. Her mother and father are having a trial separation. Sara is the first friend that Lasse ever had. But why does Sara makes such a fuss about that they have to visit Lasses father grave in Boden? But Sara is different from the others and Lasse can feel that he's slowly falling in love with her.
Länskriminalen (The Policehouse): Janne Hall, a policeman is very disappointed that Eva got the place as head police and not him. So Janne and Eva do not support each other that much. instead Janne and Karin (another police) works well together. Niilas another policeman is the only one who really understand Evas problems with Lasse and her private life.
Höök is a crimialseries and in every new case (which is every third episode) one or more people are killed. Eva and her polices has to solve the cases. Which isn't that easy. And once when the are really stuck on a case. The polices starts to hesitate as Eva part as head police..
