Lifelong platonic friends Zack and Miri look to solve their respective cash-flow problems by making an adult film together. As the cameras roll, however, the duo begin to sense that they may have more feelings for each other than they previously thought.
The city of Philadelphia refused to allow the poster at bus stops because of the word "porno". When Kevin Smith agreed to have the word taken out and just have the title "Zack & Miri", the city still refused.

When Zack and Miri get their name tags from Betz, Miri places her name tag a few inches from the top of the dress. However when it cuts back to them, her name tag is higher up and on an angle. Zack's name tag also changes position between shots.
An infomercial for "Zack and Miri Make YOUR Porno" interrupts the closing credits.
