Summary
Reviewers say 'El Presidente' delves into football association corruption with drama and dark humor, highlighting Andrés Parra's standout performance as Sergio Jadue and a compelling storyline. Criticisms include dubbing, subtitles, accents, and makeup issues, as well as a perceived lack of emotional depth and suspense. Some note plot inconsistencies and quality control errors. Despite these flaws, many recommend the series for its entertaining narrative and strong character writing.

Very entretaing serie. Shockingly you learn about the millions of dollars the FIFA manage and keep the change.
A big problem with the audio will though you off, the music plays in the background louder than the actors speak.
Far from being a criticism but I am not finding this 'drama' to be played out at all seriously. The characters are hilarious in their total disregard for any sense of shame. Only half way through but shocked to see it categorised as a drama.
I cannot help myself, but everybody outside the US, calls it football, but subtitles call it soccer. Even the organisation, like Chilean National Soccer Association, is actually The Football Federation of Chile. I was thinking, why did not rename FIFA to FISA. :D
Some great character writing combined with strong acting
The story is interesting and entertaining. It provides some shocking facts about the people involved in this scandal. There are brilliant performances and the comedy works well. However, it's disappointing to note that 90% of the events are fictitious. At some points in the story it makes no sense and is hardly believable.
