The beautiful American porn star Lana Rhoades traveled to France to make several Marc Dorcel features, and does a good job in this followup to Herve Bodilis' "Claire la soumise".

She portrays a journalist interviewing author Jean Le Fort (played once again by Rico Simmons, with authority), whose new book deals with sexual domination. Unfortunately, he doesn't like her line of questioning and abruptly ends the interview. Poor Lana is told by her editor back in the States to come back with the interview or else, so she pleads with Jean for a second chance, which he grants on condition that she take part in his ritual training process for submissives.

What makes this interesting is the imaginative fetishes and surprising twists Bodilis introduces into his story. Chief of these is a remarkable scene where Jean's loyal (and open-minded wife) Lucy Heart turns the tables on our imperious antihero, making him the sub with quite satisfying and novel results.

Claire Castel returns from the first film with a bigger acting role this time (she is more comfortable with all-sex assignments previously for Dorcel and Bodilis), while Clea Gaultier almost steals the show in terms of sexual prowess and sheer beauty. Going old school, Herve delivers 10 concise sex scenes over the course of two hours, instead of today's usually mandatory overlong XXX vignettes.

Perhaps Lana's legion of American fans will be disappointed that she's not into gonzo for this demanding feature, but she does deliver a quality d.p. scene, albeit using the standard (for Dorcel) safe-sex condoms.
