  • Warning: Spoilers
Depending on the specific choice you make, you can either go through a vent if you washed with water, but if you got disinfectant, you help the girl, but fall and hurt yourself because you didn't bond with the guy.

This is a video game - yet it's also a movie. Or multiple movies in a sense. While the core is the same, you decide the fate(s) ... and depending on your decisions the outcome is different. I personally would have loved a few more variations regarding the ending, but that's me.

Acting is rock solid and this is at least decently told. If like me you're a fan of this kind of storytelling you'll like this too. And will explore different outcomes but also different variations of where relationships are going
  • I dont like Sci-fi genre but this one interest me because of the choices and its a narrative game . So i did it and im quite not really satisfied . The choices are really linked to death , or do something illegal , i would prefer to have more emotional choices and a more complex characters . The story was good and have some background but the whole plot conspiracy is pretty classsic and nothing really surprise me or make me wonder something . THE Kensington story was not very interesting in fact and it let me bored . The game have definitely some tense moments and some choices to make . But i would prefer to have more dramatic choices or more impactful one but i guess its ok . Can be entertaing and have 9 Differents ending ; SO its pretty replayable . It was good but i would prefer something more complex story and characters . But its a good experience i guess.
  • Some of the acting is a little awkward and the music isn't always seamless between the scenes and choices but it's definitely an improvement over Shapeshifting Detective and Doctor Dekker.
  • Just got through playing this once (@ an hour and twenty min.) and am looking forward to playing through the other 8 possible endings. Good production values, decent story and acting talent. Defiantly the future of certain types of movies. Well worth the price.
  • I've always been interested in such interactive stories. I really like the concept of it and I hope these types of stories get more valorized. "The complex" was all right. Found it intriguing and entertaining. But it felt a little disappointing after I'd played/watched "Last Shift" from the same company. The storyline wasn't very engaging and some "unsuitable", unrelated dialogues throughout the progression of the story only lead me to confusion. Found the acting pretty good , but some parts felt a little awkward. As for the story context though, found it a good and grounded one. Worth watching; just grab a snack and don't expect a 10 stars piece.

Cast, musics and scenario are perfect. Different endings are great. I enjoyed a lot. It is impressive. I want to watch a similar version of this video game.
  • When Great Britain and North Ireland decide to go the Science Fiction route, it always is risky. This one fits the mold: too much useless dialogue, slightly acidic remarks in the British line of sarcastic tone and very little action. Adding to it, the British accent ensuring a larger international audience will have difficulty to follow the dialogues, makes it even less palatable. There are definitely British jewels to watch, more dramatic or more comedy, but when it comes to SF ... a movie is not to be shot as a series. Call it one or the other: brilliant SF series (Thee Mandolarian, The Expanse) exist. Brilliant SF movies exist (do I have to give examples?). In summary, disappointing and not recommended in the ocean of below average SF movies.
  • I normally wouldn't purchase a game like this, but it was on sale in the Microsoft Store. It was a really fun experience - like a choose-your-own-adventure book, except in movie format. I'd categorize the story as a suspense thriller, and while it got a little cheesy at times, it remained both interesting and suspenseful. The acting was very high quality, particularly the female lead. Collectively, these made for a really enjoyable interactive movie experience, which has now interested me in similar genre titles.

Not sure if the game differs between platforms, but my experience was on the Xbox Series X!

Don't waste your life / money on this one. As a game, the technical implementation is all right - it doesn't crash, I didn't encounter bugs and was able to complete the game. It's not possible to pause the movie portions and there's no save option so if you want to see all endings, you'll have to replay from the beginning. (You won't want to, trust me.)

Movie quality is decent and the music is passable.

    Now for the negatives:
    • Incompetent, idiotic writing. Kindergarten plays have more coherent, thought-out stories with fewer cliches. The whole thing is just so, so very stupid, it's really hard to describe it.

    • There are more plot holes than story.

    • The "science" is just... moronic. This goes hand-in-hand with the bad writing but as a sci-fi story (heavily focused on science), this is criminally bad.

    • Acting ranges from mediocre to poor; I'd really prefer not seeing any of these actors in movies in the future. Everyone would be better off if they switched to other professions.

I liked the X-Files Game and Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within so it's not the genre (FMV game) that is the problem - this one is just really poorly done.

I could keep going but you probably see the pattern already. Do yourself a favor and avoid it.
  • Really loved it, if anything it felt short I just wanted more. Everything happened so fast that it really made each choice feel intense and I loved that..
  • I was playing this game on ps4 and I don't like it at all. Endings are almost the same no matter what is your choice in the ending. Don't buy it! It's wasting of time and money!
