  • Very good and touching series. Very good actors, expecally the main characters. They are wonderful together. Even they don't make season 2, final of season 1 wasn't bad.. Actually for main characters was good so may be if they don't show more.
  • Great Turkish drama with lots of promise that is ended too soon. In fact, the show has a somewhat unfinished feel at the end of episode 9 (the show's conclusion).

Leke tells the story of Yasmin a young orphan who has a deaf half-brother that she is desperately trying to get custody of and pay for a surgery for. She works for an event planning company that unbeknownst to her has a darker side business providing escorts of which (also unbeknownst to Yasmin) her roommate and childhood friend from the orphanage Shirin works for. She meets Cem while working an event for the company he works for. One of his co workers gets very drunk and tries to accost her. To keep her quiet Cem offers her money for which she slaps him. This starts a series of misunderstandings between Cem and Yasmin in which Cem, because of his past experiences with his mother, always assumes the worst of Yasmin.

This Turkish series is very short at just 9 episodes and it deals with some very dark topics: prostitution, police corruption, murder, abuse, orphanages, jealousy, sibling rivalry, adultery, poverty, theft, stalking, invasion of privacy, indenturing, entrapment, kidnapping, etc.

There are some beautiful romantic moments...but more dark moments in this drama. It really keeps you on the edge as more and more bad things happen to Yasmin...and more men try to take advantage. Might be a tough series for women to watch, but there are some hero's in this story.

I recommend this only if you are ok with a less than conclusive finish.
  • I think everyone is overacting to the point that it is getting tiresome .There are minor details that are really annoying such as the male leading part is yelling in a hospital and no one seems to pay attention.Probably the series was cut due to low ratings and they finish the story rather sloppy.I would make an exception regarding the acting part and that is the man that plays the police chief that is in love with Yasemin .Quite convincing with no so much overdoing
  • Interesting story. Good cast. Can't wait for the next season to see what will happen.
  • Total cringe throughout the 9 episodes! It's so bad, so low on the quality scale, so terribly acted and shabbily written that you feel pain while watching it. For me it was more like second hand smoke as I had to sit through it in the same room while someone else was watching it despite my protests to shut it off. There is every cliche you can think of that sells to a typical "total" audience. The dialogues were probably written by someone who has no educational background. I can't find the words to express how bad this series is.
  • This is more a review on Kanal D. Why does anyone still do business with Kanal D? So now they've canceled season 2 of Leke. They've also canceled other popular series, some even in the middle of the story. It is a terrible network and is badly run. It should go out of business completely. Hopefully another network will pick up this series. Kanal D = rating 0

With regards to the series...it's a great series and just the right balance of intrigue and the good guys win over the bad guys. Would like to see season 2, especially with what Arda did at the end (what a mean, useless, pathetic child he is). So the rating is for the series is shown above.
  • I'm so surprised that people are not given the much needed publicity to this work I live the main actor I've been a fan since his work on söz and I absolutely love him in this new role The story line is beautiful and enjoyable 👌
  • In this series, Melis Sezen starred epochally. We can say that her acting carries the whole series. All the other actors are far below her level of acting. The story is well-designed, but somewhere along the way it is partly lost in the nonsense plot that is in the style of bad crime movies. Isn't the story of a young girl with a difficult past struggling in life enough to make a great drama? Still, I liked the final scene because it's different. And we don't really know how the love story between Jasemin and Cem ended. The series is good in principle, although it suffers from the classic childhood diseases of the Turkish series.

This series is one of my favourite I have no idea why to be honest 😂 I mean the story isn't superunique and some scenes are super cliché however,I really like it and I believe the series deserved more views. Really hope there's next season.
