  • Let's just say that this principal slept around and it included a student. When I was a student, it'd been nice to have a principal like that. Otherwise a pretty ordinary story that because I was bored I watched this and I would rather have spent the 90 minutes with a teacher.
  • If you like Lifetime movies, you will like this one. However, as a long time viewer of LTM, I knew the minute the daughter was introduced that she was.....well no spoilers, you will have to see the end to know.
  • Warning: Spoilers
Main characters are Ms Sullivan, her daughter Bree, a boy named Ian, his mother and stepfather named Boom, Gina, and the other Cheerleader who's name I forgot. ------------ So the beginning poses a problem immediately. These three thirsty Older women are having a night out celebrating , and an obviously younger male (Ian) walks in the room and they start hitting on him with not so subtle sex jokes. Then the lead woman ms Sullivan has sex with him, and even nearly states "I'm old enough to be your mother" . She didn't know how old this guy was and is in the middle of a 'separation', WHICH as later revealed, is BECAUSE of her infidelity.

So clearly she didn't learn her lesson to not be a easy h0e even after her husband took her Affair-daughter as his own and was willing to work on their marriage. Her friends are terrible friends as they actually encourage her to explore more romance and not fix her marriage that SHE ruined by the way.

Fast forward he ends up being a crappy guy and stalks her in what is supposed to be revenge. His mother is a depressed druggy, married to a shady guy Boom who does and sells drugs.

The climax is towards the end And some Jealous cheerleader named Gina gives up his whereabouts, as he ends up absconding with the woman's daughter after having transferred to the school and getting close to her in a creepy romantic way considering he knows that's his sister ...

He kills Boom and scares off Gina (prompting her to tell in the first place. Also how does her losing her virginity to Ian have any significance to the story? Other than her going to his home and being shaken up by his rampage. Considering how unbelievably jealous she was of Bree getting close to Ian it'd be nearly inevitable for her to tell on him leaving with Bree out of spite anyways. ) then promises his mentally unstable mother that he will be back.

He doesn't come back, the story ends there ,and you can't help but wonder wtf happens after that. -Does ms Sullivan get exposed to the husband of her infidelity? -does Bree not become spiteful or even curious about her biological father? -does she talk to her stepdad about it? -wtf happens to the drugged mother, does she go to jail too? Yknow since there's a dead guy in her house now and I'm assuming she'll be waiting for her son to come back, or stumbling upon her dead lover which could lead to a bunch of other outcomes.. It could've been better but, plot issues and the mothers lack of respect for herself kinda makes it hard to root for her or care about the danger that ensues.

Mother and daughter Gina Holden and Jessica Belkin are starting at a new school, but before that on a girls only vacation Holden has a fling with a young lifeguard at the resort they are at.

On the first day on the job Principal Holden spots young Mitchell Hoog and later finds out he's paying attention to Belkin.

I won't say more except that this is an elaborate campaign by Hoog to nail Holden romantically and get close to Belkin. His reasons for his actions are buried in the deep past. Hoog is a sexy package but a most disturbed young man.

    Typical Lifetime trash sudser.

    Warning: Spoilers
I swear lifetime movies keep getting worse. The "revenge" plot is probably one of the worst. They are so predictable and ridiculous. This movie was no different. As soon as the movie started with the baby and parents fighting in the car, I knew it was going to be all about revenge. The whole car scene at the beginning was so unrealistic. When the lady took hold of the wheel, the guy should have just stepped on the brakes. Like wtf with all the swerving? The movie should have ended there. The part with the ladies and Ian in the hotel room was so cringey. The two trying to flirt with him and making dumb innuendos. BARF. If the roles were reversed and it was a young woman in a room with 3 older guys, people would be appalled. I won't go on anymore, but the whole movie was problematic and stupid. I usually enjoy lifetime movies, but lately they have produced some reallly bad ones.

Possibly the worst film I've ever endured. Truly painful to watch with the worst acting I've ever seen. Truly dire. Avoid this dud.

Easily, hands down the worst acting I've ever seen in my entire life. It's a good thing the amazing storyline makes up for it. I mean just an amazingly unpredictable storyline. Honestly these writers deserve more than the Russo bros for endgame. Unparellel complexity and intense action-packed plot. So great!

    Warning: Spoilers
This watchable movie combines 2 Lifetime themes: sleeping with the student and a wacko out for revenge. From the beginning you know the motivation for the wacko of the week. There is an accident that causes his father's death. His parents were arguing about the father's affair. So a little boy grows up into a cute 18 year old and seduces the other woman a school principal. Then starts to date her daughter. Blackmail and worse follow. The cast is quite good for this kind of movie. Gina Holden is the principal and Mitchell Hoog plays the boy out to get her. Well he does have some justification so it's fun to see how things turn out.

The human flesh is weak. That old adage is applicable to two moments in the life of Kathy Sullivan, the new principal at Riverview High School. During a vacation at a posh hotel, Kathy has sex with a young man she believes to be the air conditioning repairman. But it turns out that he is a stalker looking for revenge for yet another indiscretion committed by Kathy seventeen years ago with a school custodian.

The film opens with a quarrel between a husband and wife in a vehicle. The woman seated in the passenger side grabs the wheel, and the car slams into another car, killing the husband. A little screaming brat in the backseat is baby Ian, who will have a rendezvous with Kathy seventeen years later in her hotel room. But what is the backstory of that fateful auto crash?

There is good suspense created by the filmmakers as to the story of the strange character Ian. But the film really belongs to Kathy, whose character flaws are placed in context in the love that she feels for her daughter Bree. The dastardly Ian has a crazy plan to blackmail Kathy. But the strength of her character comes across when she will not give in to his extortion scheme. The best scene in the film occurs in the principal's office when Ian learns that Kathy will not suffer fools lightly. One of my favorite characters is Mrs. Truman, the high school secretary, who is the busybody that knows the dirt on everyone.

Bree was a stutterer, who gets a fresh start at Riverview after she was harassed at her previous school. At her new school, Bree's stuttering miraculously goes away. Was it due to the influence of Ian? Or, was she transformed due to the devotion of her mom Kathy, whose commitment to family knows no bounds?
  • I was scanning channels and came across this movie, I actually liked it. It's a lot better than most of the lifetime/ oxygen movies. Movie had a good flow to it, and wasn't as predictable as some other like movies. Good looking cast and for the most part well acted.
  • Warning: Spoilers
You'd think with a name like "Sleeping With My Student," the movie would be about, I don't know, a woman accidentally sleeping with a student and trying to avoid the information getting out. I was expecting him to sneak around and do some blackmailing and seem obsessed with her, but the plot of her sleeping with a student seems to take seat to the main plot - and then comes in at the very last minute when it really doesn't matter.

Acting was absolutely horrid that it was really tough to focus on the movie. I thought that maybe it would be like that in the exposition and the rest would be fine and get better, but it was too hard to stomach because it was like that in the entire movie. Movie was extremely boring and had no world building. I knew nothing about the town or environment they were in, which made the acting stand out even more. Awkward silence between characters in the first class scene was incredibly suffocating. Not mention how weird Ian was when he was first introduced in the movie.

Gina showed no signs of having a crush on Ian other than that one scene where she talks about losing her virginity to him, and they never come back to it - showing they only mention it for the convenient of the plot. She wasn't really shown being jealous throughout the movie, talking to Bree about him, etc. She just shows up out of the blue to confess her love to him so that the mom would have some way to know where to find Bree. Movie never tells us why Bree stutters when she gets nervous - does she have some sort of condition? Who knows. Bree is also supposed to be 17-18. I usually hate when movies cast adult-looking people in the role of teenagers, but Bree looked like she was basically 13. Despite being 17-18, she has no common sense and seems to have a terrible judge of character.

Also, despite Ian being a bad guy, having a principle plant contraband in a student's locker is such an unethical thing that I didn't expect from the leading lady's character. But then again, she slept with a young guy without knowing his age. Conveniently, he turned 18 some time ago before the events of the movie.

Lastly, we never find out of the mom knows about her son, or what happened to her husband. Not only that, she looked way to young for 17 years to have passed. They could've did a better job with making her look older, especially since she seemed to be a smoker from what I was getting in the first scene.

All in all, don't watch this movie if you don't want to waste your time. I'm upset that I won't get those 2 hours back. The twist was the only thing that was interesting, which only happens at the very end of the movie.

    OK
This movie overall was not the best, would not watch again, but once is OK.
  • Warning: Spoilers
This movie was awful! I mean, no one expects Lifetime movies to provoke deep thought, but this one literally made me cringe! The actors were terrible! It's like they kept forgetting their lines or their cues or whatever. U would think they shot it all in one take! The boy is out to get the girl's mom because he feels like she's the reason his dad is dead! There! I've saved u some time. Thank me later!
  • Wow, this film is utterly terrible. How is it even being aired. The acting, like, I know its a low budget film but come on, the worst acting in any film EVER! Don't waste a second!!!
  • The storyline/idea was okay however the acting and editing dreadful. I'm not someone who usually notices movie mistakes but I picked up on a few. When editing if they put the first scene at the end it would have actually added something to the movie.

Very predictable, poor casting and terrible editing. Almost feels like I watched a GCSE drama piece, but not a good one.
  • If I could give it less than 1 star I would. The script of this movie is just horrible. The actors of course can use a lot of improvement but god was that script horrible.
  • Typical fun LMN movie - have a few drinks and enjoy! My comments:

    1. As usual, the mother and daughter look like big and little sisters . Adjust makeup please.

    2. The character of Ian is attractive, but he looks like a cute girl with a short haircut.

    3. The ending is satisfying, and I found new respect for the father.
  • I gave one point because couldnt give zero. the worst movie of all time.
  • Warning: Spoilers
This movie was OK to watch. Kathy Sullivan as Gina Holden was the star in the movie. She did good with her investigation of Ian Johnson. The way Kathy set up Ian at the school was very good. She knew that Ian was bad news. Poor Bree of not knowing of how Ian was from before. I am glad that Kathy was OK at the end. I would watch this movie again.
  • Don't waste your time. I've seen productions 10x better in HS plays and children in community theater. So many of the high school students act like this was the first time they had ever acted and had no training. Lines with awkward pauses and incorrect inflection made it unwatchable. Don't waste your time.
  • 3/10.

Classic, light, naive, a bit silly, predictable third-rate film, good only if there is nothing better to watch. I think this student who was supposed to be a "hot" guy is a missed role because she looks desperate, and Katie is a very beautiful woman.
  • It a Good movie to spend time with.

    I enjoyed it.

    GOOD
Wait for the big reveal at the end - the mother's confession!

The usual Lifetime formula: an irresponsible married/separated/still in a relationship cougar has a one night stand with a boy young enough to be her son, which usually happens with the encouragement of a careless besty, egging her on to enjoy herself and have sex with someone. Turns out that it was not the first time Kathy (Gina Holden) had cheated on her poor husband Ben (David Lipper).

A lot of the acting was wooden, as if they'd just memorized their lines and were reciting them without getting into the mood of the scene. The antagonist, Ian, was a total creep from start to finish. The way he stared at Bree and talked to her it was more incestuous than anything else.

I felt sorry for poor Ben who stuck by his moody reckless wife Kathy no matter what she did, especially after she cheated on him the first time and got pregnant and he accepted the kid, Bree as his own.

The queen bee was anything but a queen bee alongside her sidekick were both really pathetic.

Anyway like someone said it ended with a happy ending. Mind you if I had been Ben myself I would have filed for divorce and sued Kathy for full custody of Bree.

Yeah, so I am not a big fan of Lifetime movies where cheating and one night stands take place. By the way this is the second Lifetime movie wherre Gina Holden plays a cheating wife (the Wrong Affair 2018).
