At the beginning, I honestly thought that this movie was going to be about a guy who is thinking about his lover and being stood up by Brian. I however was wrong because at once you will get use to the movie, you will see how they met and how they really are a match made in heaven. I really love how the pair really talked about how to take the relationship to the next level, I thought whoever wrote the script was really prised about putting that part in because it was very romantic and very well done. Then at the end, Jimmy takes a taxi and Prince Charming arrives like a gentlemen and we know what room they are after ;) Anyways everyone did an excellent job doing this film, kudos!

"Hearts and Hotel Rooms" is a 13-minute live action short film from 2007, so it will have its 10th anniversary next year. The writer and director is American filmmaker Justin Nicholas James and this is still his most, actually only, known work. It is a gay-themed movie about a couple of men who apparently cannot decide if they want to be together or not. The generic drama follows in all kinds of ways you could imagine. This film is not really about still being in the closet as many other of these LBGT films, but in terms of what it is about it does not deliver either. The two actors were entirely forgettable and interchangeable with their performances. The film looked cheap and uninspired almost throughout the entire runtime. It started of very forgettable and the longer it went, the worse it became. Major thumbs-down from me here, I see no artistry or creativity in here.
  • It is the powerful feeling - it is only a sketch. in watercolors. delicate, predictable, beautiful. convincing in few scenes. an essay about relationship. and love. and fundamental decisions. I like it. not ignoring its fragility . because , without be a great short film, it is nice and useful for reminding old ordinaries questions. good looking actors, a conventional plot and an end who could be little more inspired.
