A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the artistic director, an ambitious young dancer, and a grieving psychotherapist. Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up.
The film's editor, Walter Fasano, was the editor and an uncredited co-writer on Dario Argento's Mother of Tears (2007), the third entry in Argento's "Three Mothers" trilogy which includes the original Suspiria (1977).
Why is everyone so ready to think the worst is over?
At the end of the ritual scene, one of the deceased dancers on the left side of the screen clearly has their head showing, but in the next shot it's edited out again.
The opening logos for Amazon Studios and K Period Media are animated sketches that fade into the dull white background for the opening titles.
