Emocionante desde el principio a fin. Very interesting from the beginning to the end.
This is a series that takes a little time to get rolling, but, trust me: the wait is worth it. A Latin-speaking mom, Monica, a nurse, leaves Mexico for Spain with her husband and teenaged daughter. Her husband had a shady background, and, soon, it appears people in Madrid are hunting for them. Why? Revenge, leverage for extortion? It's not clear. Enter a hit man, following the wife. The assassin, Daniel, is a lookalike for a young Beniccio Del Torre (actor's real name: Eduardo Noriega.. sounds fake). By pure coincidence, Monica saves Daniel's life after a public terrorist bombing. Daniel relents, keeps his 'hit' money, but starts to act as Monica's bodyguard.
When Monica's pretty daughter, Natalia goes missing, Daniel (who is actually a former cop, but washed out) offers to aid in finding her. Soon, Monica herself falls into enemy hands while chasing down leads. It's up to her husband, and Daniel to get to the bad guys in time. But can they rescue Natalia, who has been trafficked abroad, in time?
Edge-of-your-seat suspenseful, with brilliant use of coincidence, and a mix of connected characters, this top notch series makes it hard to shut off. Binge worthy indeed. Congrats, Netflix-you batted it out of the park with this one!

This could be good. The director ruined it (and also some very bad acting)
Muy bueno!
And kudos to Principal Actor/Model and Executive Producer - Blanca Soto, for giving us a female version of the movie "Taken." 10 x 45 minute episodes, so just the right length to provide depth, character building - and allow binge-watching. Quite a few twists and turns; as usual - not everyone is who they seem to be. You'll see.
Story is simple, bad ex-husband gangster is in Mexico, Blanca flees to Madrid and her daughter is "taken" - the rest of the movie contains a pretty good cast of supporting characters in both countries, Police Forces and so on.
Aided by a repentant 'hitman' the 5ft 10 ins Blanca goes on the rampage in two countries. I won't say much more except that I believe you will get in to this and after an episode or two, you'll be hooked.
So, congrats to Blanca Soto and her Executive producing skills, who knows there could be a sequel (there were THREE "Taken" movies after all.)

All of the men are either bad or stupid, but the women are the victims and the heroines. Is there a subliminal message being put across?
