After being banished from their tribe, two hunter-gatherers encounter Biblical characters and eventually wind up in the city of Sodom.
Stanley Tucci was cast to play the Biblical character Noah. After Evan Almighty (2007) failed at the box-office, Noah was cut from the film.
For the crimes- of blasphemy - heresy - conspiracy - treachery - leprosy - puppetry - hyperbole - animal husbandry - sodomy... Oh, it's refusal of sodomy - overt punditry - and the murder of my brother Abel - the prisoners shall be stoned - TO DEATH!
When Oh is about to enter the 'Holy of Holies', camera equipment is reflected in the jewels of his helmet.
Several bloopers are shown during the first half of the end credits.
The film was originally given an R rating when first submitted for US theatrical release. Prior to theatrical release, it was then cut in the US for an MPAA PG-13 rated cinema release. This was further cut by the BBFC for a 12A rated cinema release in 2009. An uncut version has been released on home video with a 15 rating in the UK and MPAA Unrated in the US.
