During the first half of the Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) chapter of the game, Princess Leia speaks with an English accent, but then shifts to an American accent by the time she escapes the Death Star. That detail was deliberately added by voice actress Shelby Young, who wanted to honor the original trilogy as closely as possible. In the original film, Carrie Fisher shifted between both accents.
Instead of free-roam consisting of one or two hubs, you are able to freely travel to many different planets and engage in space battles.
Includes nearly 800 characters and ships, with 380 being playable (in the base game). Lucasfilm Games managing producer Craig Derrick said, "When choosing characters for a game this large, we just looked at every film in the saga and tried to say 'yes' as much as possible."
Features original voice acting rather than the classic grunts and "uhs" from previous games, however the mumbles are an option if the player toggles on "Mumble Mode" which replaces the dialogue with the classic sounds.
