    Warning: Spoilers
The film "Hunting Game" is being recycled as "Big Game" because the film sucks and they are attempting to squeeze a few extra dollars out of it with the C. Thomas Howell name.

Sully (C. Thomas Howell) gets out of prison and teams up with his two brothers to kidnap Toni (Haley Webb). Due to bungling they end up with a boat load of high school kids and hunting them...not for sport, but because they got away. Oh yeah, the high school class is about survival of the fittest in an attempt to "go deep."

Not worth watching under either title.

The one comment before mine is obviously a friend to the director or the writer and didn't know really what to say about the movie so just wrote anything could come to his/her mind. A movie like this doesn't deserve a good review even if it was the product of my best friend's work! It is just that bad! Story is too cliché and the acting is nothing close to top notch as said in the comment! The acting is nothing that you have never seen before even if you have only watched 5 movies! Nothing really drags you to the movie but the fact that it's just like all the others and you just want to go through the end to waste the time that you have already promised yourself to.

And the ending! Oh my God how horrible! the one who was thought to be dead is back out of nowhere to kill the bad guy and then fall dead! Yeah, who would believe it. I know you will say (only if you watched the movie) that the guy stayed alive all night covering his wound with a piece of duct tape because he said in the beginning of the movie " everything can be fixed with a duct tape"! What bull.... is this! That's not true! Was this line meant to be like one of those classic lines in classic movies i.e. Get busy dying or get busy living! Because if it was, it only made me laugh!

Sully kidnaps the daughter of the cop who put him away and they, along with a bunch of high school kids all end up in the woods.

Okay cast in a poorly written film that is so by the numbers I dare you not to skip through this DVD...actually is so mediocre I dare you not to turn this off. Lets not put too fine a point on it the film doesn't make a great deal of sense (I love how one character gets out of prison and its in front of some run down warehouses and the only security shown is some guy standing around with a shot gun) with the result that you're going to be staring at the screen in disbelief. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, and just kind of stared at the screen until I realized that this was definitely a bad movie but not in a fun way. For give me I had to hit scan to make it through and even then I consider this time I will never get back.

Caught this movie at a film festival in Los Angeles. Fairly standard story about revenge. A man wants to kill another man's daughter because that other man killed his girlfriend accidentally. Some minor plot holes and a few things just didn't make sense. But I did like the "feel" of the film. But what I really liked, a lot, were some of the performances. Surprisingly excellent acting for an indie/low budget movie. In fact, it was just some REALLY excellent acting period, even if it were a big budget A list film. Wonder how that got so many good actors together quite frankly. Very very good. There was not a weak performance in the bunch. The characters Chas, Sully, Toni and Pickle were particularly wonderful and memorable. Not taking away from any other actor in the film, it's just that those performances were very top notch with some fantastic moments. Definitely worth watching, even more than once, just to catch these performances. Ya never know I suppose. Anyway, all in all, I enjoyed it.
