| Incredible Movie
The director Juan Cavestany, who wrote the scripts of very interesting movies like "Los Lobos De Washington", "Guerreros" and the fantastic "Salir Pitando", directs his first solo movie, and it is a complete success for me.Risky, new, strange, hypnotic, "Gente De Mala Calidad" is something fresh for an industry that needs movies like this. Wonderfully written by the director, the story of this bunch of losers, caught in a grey and sad low class neighbourhood, is full of anger, fun, sadness and, finally, tenderness for the characters. But no mercy for them, just tenderness at the very end. Each and every actor (specially Pilar Castro) give us fantastic performances, making us hating them at the same time we feel love for them. Alberto San Juan's work is another proof that he is one of the best actors in Europe right now. Great camera work, beautifully lighted, one of the most interesting Spanish movies of the year. Everybody must see it.
