When Thomas is talking to Tony outside his new mansion, he points to the Big Dipper, which is both high in the sky and oriented "bowl-up". They would have to be very near the North Pole to see this. In Germany, the Dipper is only 20-25 degrees above the horizon when "bowl-up".
