From its title, this is a provocative yet unfortunately accurate animated short. It's the exposure of women as they are seen in their societal context, nothing more than a piece of meat that should be discarded, if not at the expected point. We are exposed to different phases or patterns that women must adapt to, which find in the incomprehension imposed by each context the true provocation to which the title alludes.
An innocent child who is made to feel guilty about her weight. A young girl who isn't allowed to feel like a woman in the ignorance of her own menstruation. A black woman who feels in every instance at the top of intolerance. A lesbian woman whose body isn't seen as useful, if not used for reproduction. A woman who, as she grows older, fears that she will be rendered useless as an artist.
None of these women are allowed to feel comfortable in their bodies. We find the similarities between the different stories in their intended conformism to a supposed normalised state, to wrongly established standards, unjustly created prejudices. Each story with its own style of animation, transposes the entirety of these women, even if not physically. An animation that celebrates the diversity of its own medium, as it celebrates each of these women stories, from each their individuality, their identity.
