  • "Science" is cute and awkward in the best way, with a little learning mixed in which was surprising.

As the summary covers the plot revolves around a few scientists trying to prove love and always over thinking it. The story sounded a bit "dry" at first but the approach was well crafted, the character interactions are believable (which is a nice change of pace) and the overall awkwardness of the main characters is funny and heartwarming instead of being cringe worthy. Additionally they often throw in a 4th wall cutaway to explain some of the topics discussed and scientific methods they use use allowing novices to follow along while challenging the viewers (in a constructive way) to go and learn more.

The show does of course make mistakes and go overboard at times, but unlike many 12 episode amines it gives the viewers solid closure while leaving the door open to a second season which is a big bonus.

Pro's: -Consistent animation. -Good English Dubbing. -Engaging characters. -Fun take a classic romance trope.

Con's: -High cheese factor at times. -A couple of the characters are just a little to over the top.
  • Ayame Himuro and Shinya Yukimura are two young scientists. Ayame believes she has fallen in love with Shinya so the pair decide to use their scientific training to analyse the situation. This involves doing things couples do while meticulously recording various details, such as heartrate. Others in the lab help as well as doing their own projects. Will the scientific approach bring them together or prevent them forming a real relationship?

I rather enjoyed this light hearted series. At first I didn't think it would work for me but as the characters became more established I grew to care about them and enjoy watching their activities. The various activities are the sort one might expect, such as going out for a meal or doing activities one might do on a date. Our protagonists are good characters as are their co-workers who are almost as important to the story. The animation is of a decent quality and the character designs are suitably distinctive. Overall I wouldn't call this a must see but it is a fun way to pass the time.

These comments are based on watching the series in Japanese with English subtitles.

It's so educational plus the story is good. From episode 1-12 it's very funny and romantic at the same time. "hoping for season 2" or more.

I'm looking forward for the next season. The animation was fascinating. Ayame himuro is so beautiful indeed as well as the other characters. The story was great and very educational. It's a little cringe tho but funny I love the way they acted like that. It's so cute "a two couple" with no experience on romance. I sure did laughed and learned a lot while watching this amazing anime.

Very nice romcom where the protagonists try to use the scientific method to explain everything, including love.

Can be also a little educational thanks to the bear who come in from time to time explaining some basic statistics concepts.

To reach perfection in my opinion it lacks a grain of unpredictability, moreover the character of Yukimura is extremely cold, I mean too cold even for a "normal" cold young man.
  • If you are interested in love-comedy this is a must watch for u whenever I watch this it makes me feel happy just a pure beautiful love story that u will enjoy watching after a long day at work.
