Fabulous kids program that is... also enjoyable for adults!

Great job apple! What a nice, light-hearted, educational program for the young ones.

But it's also really quite enjoyable for adults aswell.

A nice mixture of facts about space and space travel combined with the wit of Snoopy and his comrades!

Joyful, short and no bs. 10/10

Somehow, it works

In case you didn't know, the iconic Peanuts franchise was bought out by DHX Media (now known as WildBrain) in 2017. I was skeptical of this at first since WildBrain has a reputation for ruining franchises (I meant, just look at what they did to Mega Man and Teletubbies), but they managed to keep the integrity of the Peanuts series with this little show.

This show involves Snoopy, who wants to become a NASA astronaut. After sneaking into NASA and undergoing training, he becomes a full-fledged astronaut, and each episode documents his missions, like tending to a garden, or rescuing his pal Woodstock. It may be serialized, but it's not mature and edgy, and manages to keep the same wholesome, comedic feel that Peanuts is best known for.

The animation and backgrounds are gorgeous, and the piano jazz soundtrack is reminiscent of Vince Guaraldi's music. Longtime Peanuts fan will enjoy the series, but students can get a lot out of it too since it teaches a lot about space - like what astronauts eat, the training process, all that fun stuff.

I do wish we got to see more of the kids, since their characterizations are top notch - with Marcie and Franklin being the nerds, Lucy being the bossy one, Peppermint Patty being the lazy dumb one, and Charlie Brown being the group's moral compass. Linus and Sally don't do much, though.

I definitely recommend this show to Peanuts fans worldwide, as well as animation fans in general who just want a relaxing, educational show to watch.

Intelligent Children's Programming

Children will learn, with the Peanuts gang, all about NASA and Space Exploration. I give this educational series a 7 (good) out of 10. {Animated Children's Adventure}

This was the first show I watched on this service. Tonight, I watched three and a half shows. I couldn't stand to finish the last. So far, Snoopy was the best.

It was just simple fun.

When you see Snoopys face, you can see what he is feeling and thinking of. It was great.

The episodes are 8 some minutes long. It was the perfect amount of time needed.

The only thing that took away from it some, was when the characters started talking. This show seems to be one that could succeed just by the actions of the characters.

On top of that, I've been watching Peanuts for like twenty years. The voices seemed off.

But, I am super excited to watch more of this show.

Snoopy is just what the Doctor ordered!

This is such a breath of fresh air! Something familiar, yet new, a comfort in a time and place that's less than comfortable. Snoopy, Woodstock and the entire Peanuts gang are here for a few moments to take the heavy load off of your day and give you some much needed relief. Thank u Apple, I needed this.

Snoopy in Space is wonderfully true to the original heart and style of the Peanuts characters I grew up with. Nostalgia - hell yes - but the original had so much pathos and insight that rose coloured glasses are not required.

The voices are perfect, the execution just right. It felt as though the ghost of Charles M. Schulz was standing behind the animators watching over their efforts.

May Snoopy and the gang live forever, and to Apple, thank you.

Really enjoyed this series! Manages to recapture the look and feel of the classic Peanuts specials, while also doing something that feels new and different. The show is great for kids-the episodes are a breezy 8 minutes long, and it injects some neat educational material that manages to stay fun and interesting to the little ones. If you're at all a space nerd like me, the archival footage from the Apollo missions, as well as looks into future NASA missions are really cool, and not really something I would have expected to see in a children's show. All-in-all, I feel like it does justice to the original Peanuts, and has a nice balance of humor and cuteness.

Snoopy doggy dog

Snoopy in Space is a series about the iconic dog and his friends the Peanuts gang on a field trip to NASA. While there, Snoopy and Woodstock are tapped to be a part of an elite mission to the International Space Mission. The 8-minute episodes follow Snoopy, who through sneakiness and smarts, ends up going on an elite mission to the International Space Station as an astronaut. Back on Earth, the gang is involved in each mission; they share facts about NASA and space travel, educating young viewers in the process.

Positive messages emphasize teamwork, belief in oneself, and determination. The Peanuts gang are good role models for young kids, with smart and adventurous girls and kind and thoughtful boys. With no violence or language concerns, this show is a treat for Peanuts fans of any age.

This is a great blast from the past. The creators have stayed true to the original cartoon. Snoopy is so funny! I love it! SOOOOO cute!

Snoopy after Schulz and Melendez

Charles Schulz and Bill Melendez are dead and it shows. Snoopy and the Peanuts gang have sold their souls to corporate branding. The first episode of Snoopy in Space follows the same style and pacing as any of today's formulaic kid's show. Playing things safe, they constantly try to entertain the audience at every second, with lots of "look at me! I'm doing something exciting!" type writing. Gone are the originality, the dissing mean cruelty of life that Charlie Brown faces, the jokes that are actually funny. It's all "Look at Snoopy! He does all the fun stuff! Put on a happy face! Look at our cast, it's the entire cast of Peanuts! Look at Franklin! It's safe! It's diverse!" One could argue this matches Schulz's later years when his work lost his own edge from his earlier years and not as good as the great Bill Melendez animations form the 60's-70's. This is a quick paced episode jam packed with showing off and quasi-educational interests, that expects the kids to have ADD. Having grown up on the Melendez animations, it's also a little hard accepting Snoopy's similar but a bit off voice. Snoopy's voice sounds a little more higher pitched; is it really that hard to get someone to sound similar to a voice without words? That said, the look and animation's okay, it's just the content has lost it's soul.

Strictly for kiddies

This is one of Apple's first productions and it's aimed squarely at kiddies. This is not your father's "Peanuts", it may look similar, but it's designed for kids 6-12, so if you're an adult sans kids, don't waste your time.

This show is good for kids, adults, seniors, literally everyone. Nice light hearted show with loads of information about Space Travel, Snoopy is adorable.

Hope Apple TV renew the show and take us on a Mars Mission!

space too soon

After a class presentation, Snoopy is inspired to go into space. He applies to NASA, but gets rejected. They do give him passes to tour the faciility. While the kids are doing the tour, Snoopy and Woodstock decide to sneak into the program. Surprisingly, he gets selected by NASA AI C. A. R. A.

This is a cute Peanuts series while doing educational promotion for NASA. I'm surprised that Snoopy got into space so quickly. He should be training within the neighborhood using home-made gear. For example, the playground spinning wheel can be used for a G-force simulator. The neighborhood swimming pool can simulate zero G environment. They should do all that first before going to NASA. Instead, they do that after Snoopy and Woodstock already went to the moon. It's backwards. Also this is the lighter side of Peanuts with depressing Charlie Brown is kept secondary to Snoopy. That's fine since this is geared towards kids with all the NASA space education. I do love the classic animation style. This is sweet Peanuts and is likely to teach you something.

Cute, adorable, and very colorful, this show is great! I loved watching the Peanuts growing up and this feels like a modern version of it. I love space and I feel this will get younger kids interested in space! And for those of us adults, it's cute and relaxing to watch. Loving this, Apple!

Entertainment show, funny, with that, even educational! 10/10.

It's like good candy bar! Why? Well.. I would say, I wish episodes are longer, but actually, it's perfect!

They could make in few longer parts of 20+min, to be like slices of cake.. or a many in short parts.. better in short!

That's why!

Because every episode is gem for itself!

Love this show even as an adult

Snoopy in Space is for kids, no doubt about it, so if you have any, you probably won't regret showing it to them. It will spike their interest in space and science, and yours, too, if you've kept your own inner child alive. The episodes are short and informative without losing the charm Snoopy likes to spread wherever he goes. Charlie Brown and his gang are also on board and so is a computer who's both smart and entertaining. Sounds weird? I thought so, too, at first, but she's since become one of my favorite characters on the show.
