Wow this feels so cool as i started to watch it On Disney Channel and Disney+, most of the characters are likable, funny, awesome and nice including the main characters Molly Mcgee and his ghost friend named Scratch, Libby is a good friend to Molly and the songs are catchy including the theme song too, at the end of season 1 Molly defeats the chairman by using the power of joy and releasing the ghosts from the flow of failed phantoms and Scratch sings a song called enjoy your afterlife and the whole is pretty good.
The last 3 Disney shows are incredibly good and deserves to be loved. And now it's the turn for Scratch and Molly McGee.
First things first, this show is completely stoled by Molly and her optimistic attitude, she's pure enjoy and the first impressions of her are pretty good, Scratch in his side is not as charming as Molly but he do really have good jokes and shines whenever he's with her. Animation and backgrounds look smooth and they change to the situation very well specially when something spooky is happening. The diversity on the characters despite of not being very creative, manages to make them distinguish form each other with none problems; this is well made with the voices of every member of the cast.
But this has to come, a curse must be casted; Scratch attitude even if is setted to be a very grumpy one, sometimes is impossible to keep him in the lovely path. Talking about him, he also has a very tight pronuntiation making some words a bit not easy to understand without subtitles. And final point is some characters, some fell in their own cliches and it's a bit exhausting seeing the same character kind over and over for their secondary cast, i hope they give a complete twist and give us a surprise like in other shows.
I curse you veiwers to see this show from beggining to end and see how it evolves to a posibly bigger show; now jokes of the original name aside, watch it because it's well made and i think anyone can enjoy it.

The Ghost and Molly McGee is something truly special. This era of cartoons has been dominated by story-driven content, and while that has given us some of my favorite shows and cartoons of all time, I missed shows more akin to my childhood, something along the likes of Phineas and Ferb or Regular Show. The Ghost and Molly McGee have me everything I wanted and more: it's the type of show I know I would have loved as a kid and gone back to time and time again as an adult. Even as an adult viewing the show for the first time, this show has great writing, voice acting, music, animation, and I could go on. Ashly Burch and Dana Snyder were perfectly cast and have amazing on-screen chemistry. Each episode feels unique, and doesn't feel like a typical "stock plot" that you see in other shows; there are many episode from this show that fell truly, 100% unique. Although I love shows that have a set formula for each episode, The Ghost and Molly McGee doesn't, which helps keep the show as a whole fresh. It also has ongoing continuity between episodes, which makes each episode feel significant and the world feel loved in. The animation style might be my favorite I've ever seen: characters are cartoony and stylized, but still look appealing and fun. They're extremely expressive in their facial and body animations. The music is also amazing, and the only show that holds a candle to Phineas and Ferb's soundtrack. The show also touches on some important themes like capitalism and poverty really well, and has a few emotional moments that hit you like a truck. Overall, The Ghost and Molly McGee is a must-watch show if you like animation or comedies in general.

The Ghost and Molly Mcgee is a fun show about the supernatural. With so many things that don't exist in the real world, this show makes you see into the world of the supernatural.
This show is about Molly Mcgee (Ashly Burch) and The Ghost whose name is Scratch (Dana Snyder). When Molly moves into a new house that is haunted by Scratch, Molly instantly befriends him and, in an attempt to get her off his back, he curses her so that she will be haunted forever - but, that ends up being a curse for him. To find out what happens to this hilarious duo watch this show!
One cool thing about this show is that, when the ghost does his haunting thing, the whole screen turns sideways and the colors go crazy, which makes it so entertaining to watch. Another thing I like about this show is the ghost council. The head ghosts hands out assignments and each ghost gets a scare report where they have to show a certain amount of scares during a certain period of time. The whole show is animated and has a very different style of animation. Most animated shows I watch try to look 3D and as realistic as possible, but this one is closer to 2D and it intentionally looks more like a cartoon. That has a more kid-friendly feel, especially with the scary ghost scenes.
The message is that unlikely friendships can work out.
I give The Ghost and Molly Mcgee 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 6 to 16. I think younger kids might find the ghost scenes a little scary. This begins streaming October 1, 2021 on Hulu TV Live. By Avalon N., KIDS FIRST!

While certainly not the darkest of humor out there it took an approach I honestly didn't expect from Disney and I enjoyed it. If you fans of shows like The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy or Invader Zim you'll probably enjoy this. And if you enjoy this, I recommend you check out The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy or Invader Zim.
At times Molly's positive attitude can be too much, to the point where if she was the only real main character shed get a bit tiresome fast - but they play her off with an edge of humor, awkwardness and fear of being alone (not having a friend) that it grounds her character and really plays off Scratch (the ghost) and the antics of those around her.
On the surface this feels like it's going to be another paint by numbers kid friendly cartoon, and it is (the kid friendly part) but there's just enough of a 'edge' to it that although I am FAR from the shows target demographic it was a lot of fun. The environments look like exaggerated Nightmare Before Christmas whenever the ghost scare someone, but it's colorful. The overly sweet pop sounding song in each episode feels like it came from Avenue Q or Book of Mormon if you listen closely- not the content of course, but an overly cute song whose cynical lyrics need to be heard.
All in all this won't be for everyone but I'd highly recommend giving this a watch.
