  • "CNN" has once again done it with their original series this time they do it with "First Ladies" which is a past look at the personal and political lives of many well liked and most popular first ladies. The episodes feature vintage clips and news footage with happenings of memorable moments and many early interviews with each. Plus many ex staffers, cabinet members, and media people and historians give their thoughts and takes on the particular first lady featured in the episode shown. The collection features Michelle Obama, Jackie Kennedy, Nancy Reagan, Elanor Roosevelt, Lady Bird Johnson, and Hillary Clinton. So no doubt that's an elegant and famous collection. Well done really a must watch for any history or political buff!

Honestly loved it. Usually I do things while I'm watching tv but on the first episode I was hooked, my eyes glued to the screen and I couldn't stop. And I even watched the commercials it came with since I watched it on demand! And I wasn't irritated I was just anticipating the next episode. The first episode was just great, relatable and made me instantly want to buy her biography or memoir. Can't wait for more. History like this just fascinates me. I even read books on women hero's of World War Two because I feel like they are so underrepresented but are so inspiring and important in their own way. So this series was exactly what I needed right now.
  • Its ridiculous that one, 1 star review can ruin the whole rating. I have watched 4 of the episodes and they go into a lot of info for the short amount of time each episode has. Basically gives a background of childhood and education and shows how that plays into their values and work as a first lady. How their views and knowledge affect, support and influence their husbands work and the relationship the first couple have. Whether I was a fan of the administration or not every woman was a smart, talented individual. I enjoyed this series a lot.
  • Dare to dream little girls! Work hard and you just may be the first woman President. You are unstoppable!

Dishonest bend on true history. A obvious attempt to change history just before the midterm election. Sad attempt at politics. Don't waste your time. Sorry but this is more Hollyweirdos trying to influence the sheep.
  • Why am I not surprised there are no Republican first ladies here? A biased piece of bland leftist propaganda. Jackie Kennedy was the greatest American first lady certainly, but this looks like a promotional material for the democratic party convention. I know Hollywood isn't particularly sympathetic to conservative Republicans but this is laughable. No surprise people are flocking to Trump. They're running away from this bunch of self-absorbed elitists and "relatability". As a lifelong liberal, I'm embarrassed by this. The whole cultural discourse in the US is a cultural monologue where things are slowly starting to change.
