I don't know what else to say about this unique TV series, call me obsessive over the gorgeous Aaron Johnston but I loved seeing him shirtless and the way he looked into Lila's eyes as they chatted - not only does Aaron suit his part as Owen Stephens but he is also a great actor, in Nearly Famous he is lip-biting-ly violent but heart-throbbingly sweet! Tutulah Riley is by far the most unique one of them all - I love her dress since and the way she has boundaries! Her strong feelings for Owen made me smile the whole way through! The ending disappointed me mildly - It made little since and was very unexpected! Which is why (as a media student and huge fan of Aaron's body) I demand a second series!
  • This one is a tricky miniseries. The acting is great, all the young actors and actresses deliver great performances, the music and cinematography are quite good, but something seems to have happened along the way. The first four episodes are beyond very good, perfectly written, perfectly executed. Then, in the last two episodes things start to go downhill from the first minute of episode 5! The storyline doesn't make any sense anymore, the character development we saw happen goes awry, and a great story about a young rebel's struggle to fit in using his talent turns into a half-witted soap opera for no reason. What a waste of a great story development and great acting.

Quite possibly the saddest thing i have seen in months. I found this 6 episode series of Nearly Famous, whilst searching for other things Aaron Johnson had been in other than Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, only to find this, and get all attached to Owen and Lila, only to be disappointed in the end. Amazing series, but I wanted them to end up together so badly! I feel like such a sap, sitting here, and watching the final episode and crying like there's no tomorrow. I wish they hadn't canceled the show, or at least had more than 6 episodes. But at least what they did make, was really amazing. Great cast, amazing plot lines, characters that really grabbed your soul. The only thing that disappointed me, was the Owen and Lila didn't end up together in the end, but I guess its true in the fact that in life, some things just don't work out. <3 Much love.
