  • Writer George Kaplan and director Bud Lee team for one of their best Adult features, a wonderful starring role for character actress Tina Tyler as a sex therapist who by the end of the movie learns the lesson: "physician, heal thyself".

I watched this feature on DVD this week and was surprised to find no info on it anywhere after a few Google searches, and have added it to the database, over 20 years after its release. It certainly is worth rediscovering.

Covering six scenes mainly involving her patients, including TJ Hart and Adam & Eve regular Alexandra Silk, the movie leads to troubled Tina experimenting with swinging but turning away after she is offered group sex in a club run by attractive blondes Jennifer Worthington and Taylor Moore.

She goes to pal Randy Spears for advice and he gives her enlightened suggestions, which result in a climactic threesome for Tina with Spears and her best friend Danielle Rogers (a fine role late in the veteran actress's career).

Lee maintains a serious tone throughout, and especially in the early reels uses mirror images artfully to underscore the title's double meaning, which encompasses our heroine reflecting on her own passions and behavior while daily listening to the personal stories of her patients.
