The boundaries between half the students are unclear. The original animated series tackled these questions, but this film feels weak due to its distance from the show. The magical faeries, including Dowling, stop the creature, and Dowling kills it. Bloom talks to Aisha about her magical abilities and her parents' involvement. Farah informs the other teachers that Bloom has the potential to be the most powerful fairy they've encountered, and they've lied about Rosalind's death. Dowling warns them that Bloom can't meet her, as they see Rosalind being held captive in the magical portal in Farah's basement.
