    Absolute rubbish

Awful in every way.. unsure why I continued to watch until the end.. I think I was just hoping something would make it worth the time I'd already wasted.

The acting was horrific, I felt like I was watching a high school drama in stage rather than a sky film!

The story line was pointless and not believable.. for example, why would you decide your going to jet ski out to a boat to take revenge when it was literally docked up the day before? Surely it would have been much easier to do that when attached to land... Also why tell the girl to get the flare when evidence was in the flare bag..? It literally makes zero sense.

Truely not even sure why I'm wasting my time writing a review about such an awful film too, but I think I just want to save people wasting their time!!

    Entertaining thriller

It isn't the best movie ever, but it's entertaining enough, and considering the limited setting and cast (all movie long we are on the same boat with the same three people) it's quite an achievement that they made it thrilling until the very end. I especially liked it, that up until the last say 20 minutes you keep guessing who speaks the truth and who is the villain. Ella-Rae Smith plays her bewilderment and deadly fear very well, Matthew Daddario as handsome and charming Ben makes it totally believable that young Jess falls for him, and Jessica Alexander is equally convincing as the relentless vengeful Lexie.

I do have a few minor reservations. The sad personal history of Jess keeps popping up, but doesn't add anything to the story. And the last scene somehow gave the impression that the makers considered someone as a hero and worth to be saved, who in my opinion was, in spite of understandable motives, disproportionally violent, even murderous. A bit of a questionable moral, I would say. But for the rest: a nice and entertaining thriller.

A short review for a forgettable movie

Into the Deep features a young girl that unwillingly goes on a boat ride with a guy that she doesn't even know. However she does not want to go to shore and stay with him for a romantic little trip. After some time they find an unconscious young woman on a jet ski and shortly after the trouble begins.

The movie has lots of plot holes and just unrealistic behavior and you have no one to really root for since all of the characters are not that likeable. However there are some tense scenes and the overall acting was fine.

Another thing that the movie made good, was that it kept you guessing on whose side to be on. Other than that it was pretty average and forgettable. [5,1/10]

    Bad character decisions ruin it

Too many bad decisions and inane activity that really doesn't make sense. It needed a more coherent plot and better dialogue. I don't know. Just another bla movie. The acting isn't bad. And the lead is really nice looking in a bikini. That's about it.

    I disagree

Two girls and a guy out on a 'disabled' sailing yacht. Someone is mentally unstable, but who? Ok, they had a budget and it would never win any awards, but not everyone can live in a Marvel universe. I've seen so many 4 rated movies, this one should be a 6, but it falls just a hair short. I think the protagonists do an acceptable job with their characters (and yes, the guy looks a lot like his sister). I stuck with it because I did get vested enough to want to know who the sociopath was. Colorful filming, pretty people, a little nudity, sadly no sharks, but a little blood, and a Disney ending (too bad). Quite watchable.
