Now here's a nice family movie

This movie is about a little girl who has gone away from her family and meets a dog named "Curly" Witch she didn't appear normally until the nearly the end after the little girl cries over her family. But the movie is a interesting family and kids movie thing ever on VHS. Their is also some DVD's for the movie too, and it ties up with other good jag movies from the regular early and late 90's. Every family should see it, and should be a nice family movie for all ages. Maybe little children won't understand very well, but if true, Then I recommend age 5 and up. Every family should watch this movie on VHS Video tape. Go watch it. The graphics fit nearly perfect in it. And the movements almost hits the spot as other good animation VHS movie. Almost as the snow queen. I like the songs, and you will too, I promise I swear god they are so cute! The little girl also looks exactly like an anime character almost, but just cuter. But it's probably not Japanese movie. I think it's too good.

Recommend: Yes Who: To my sister. I'm sure she'll like it. She likes cute movies like these and a Snow queen on VHS.

This Husky Is One Clever Canine

I saw Curly The Littlest Puppy around the same time as I saw Happy The Littlest Bunny and my consensus is basically the same on both. That is to say, I found "Curly" to be positively pure and adorable. When I first watched the movie, I got a bit bored in the beginning. I wondered why the beginning was just the family talking and I was anxious to get to the parts with the dogs. With that said, once the story gets going it's a good one. The animation is smooth and crisp. I especially love the animation on Curly, which is soft and warm, reminiscent of hot chocolate. While the title character is a standout, the rest of the character animation and the background animation are quite nice as well. The music is enjoyable and even soothing. For example, when Curly comes out of the bag and Hayley goes to investigate, the score seems to jingle sweetly. I'll Be There For You is also wonderful. Interesting supporting characters, such as the father, the brother, the aunt, the rat, and the housekeeper and her dog Cantessa. The birthing scene with Aunt Judith and Madeline the housekeeper freaking out is a hoot, as is any scene with the rat. Finally, the relationship between Hayley and Curly is simply precious, reminiscent of Jenny and Oliver's relationship in Oliver & Company. They are such great friends that do everything together and it looks like so much fun when she walks him on a skateboard. The movie ends with Hayley and Curly returning to Hayley's home.

So bland I had to turn it off

I used to love this film as a child but I watched bits and pieces of it again and turned it off. First of all, the beginning is melodramatic, why just because the parents lost their job that they have to send their child away? Shouldn't they have enough money to still support their child? My mom didn't have a job and she still took care of me so either they're dirt poor or they became homeless and didn't want their child to be in that situation but I don't know, I didn't rewatch much of the film to remember all this. Also, why didn't Hayley call her parents and tell them that her aunt is too mean and that she needs to be picked up? This shows Hayley as a boring, weak little girl character when even 3 year olds can pick up the phone and call their parents?

Contrived melodrama of a film and I'm glad that it's not well-known. It doesn't deserve to be. If you have a child under the age of 11, they might enjoy this but otherwise, stay away.

Incredibly cute, one of Jetlag's best

I still consider Heidi Jetlag's best, but Curly: The Littlest Puppy is up there with the best of them like Magic Gift of the Snowman, Little Red Riding Hood, Black Beauty and Cinderella. While they are not perfect, I do think the Jetlag animations do deserve more attention, and not to be looked down upon as rip-offs. Sure some of them do have some corny dialogue and voice acting(but that is true of quite a few obscure animations I've seen of late actually) as well as some wanting animation quality, but I have always enjoyed the music, the stories sweet and meaningful and the characters on the most part likable. Curly: The Littlest Puppy has all three of those good things, and very, very little of the bad things. The animation is mostly not bad at all, a couple of the character designs are a little awkward but still better than the ones in Alice in Wonderland at any rate, but the backgrounds do have life and are clean in alternative to sparse and rushed and the colours have vibrancy. The music is wonderful, the score has a lot of whimsy, and the songs are ones with lovely melodies and good messaging. Close to Me was always my favourite, With You is also very catchy. The script is never too simplistic or childish, and the story is sweet without being saccharine and touching without being overly-sentimental. The characters are endearing, the titular character is simply adorable and definitely towards the top of the list of Jetlag's most relateable characters. The voice acting is good, not corny like Alice in Wonderland or A Christmas Carol, instead it is simple and dynamic while not being overly-cutesy or passive. In conclusion, one of Jetlag's best of a resume of charming and worthwhile if imperfect animations. 9.5/10 Bethany Cox

The little girl and the dog are beautiful

Then this movie that was created by Jetlag Productions This time it's not something based on a Disney Go movie it's like they always do But this time it's a completely new story So the plot After her father loses his job, Haley is left with their grumpy aunt Judith who is enamored withher pedigree dog.when Judith's dog gives birth to her beautiful babies, mutt puppy Curly finds his way into the unlikely family and enlightens Haley's life I say that I liked this film a lot because it was truly a great relationship between the little girl and the dog for me they are truly the bestcharacters of the film and I'm really happy that TheLittleSongbird which even gave a score of 10 for me will be one of the best films by Jetlag Productions the animation was also beautiful some don't like it because I compare that type of animation with Disney and Studio Ghibli you don't have to do competition to these two cases of production. This is a film put into video dialect and should be treated as such. It was truly very beautiful to conclude the vote 9.
