Throughout the series, several officers of the San Joaquin Sheriffs Office are referred to as "Sheriffs" by criminal justice personnel and others throughout the series. They should actually be referred to as "Deputy". A Sheriff is a single individual that is elected by a governing body and has deputies that carry out law enforcement duties. When Lt Roosevelt and Lt Jarry refer to themselves as "Sheriff", it is an obvious mistake.
Season 3 episodes Sons of Anarchy: Lochan Mor (2010), Sons of Anarchy: Turas (2010), Sons of Anarchy: Fírinne (2010), and Sons of Anarchy: Bainne (2010) used an Irish rendition of the main theme song.
