An upstart television producer accepts the challenge of reviving a struggling morning show program with warring co-hosts.
There is no television studio in the US that is actually called "IBS," most likely because in the English Language, the abbreviation "IBS" is most often used for the digestive system disorder "Irritable Bowel Syndrome." These initials were possibly chosen deliberately to tie into the humiliatingly scatological theme of the report that airs on the show early in the movie.
Wow! Well look who the wind blew in. What happened to you?
Becky Fuller: Well? We're gonna change a few things.
Lenny Bergman: Okay.
Becky Fuller: Is Ernie in place?
Lenny Bergman: Yes he is. He'll be interviewing people as they come off the coaster.
Becky Fuller: No, he won't. Not anymore he's not. We're gonna put him ...
When Becky confronts Pomeroy in the studio before the cameras go live, there is supposedly live feed of her on the monitors attached to the cameras. Her movements don't even remotely match what she's actually doing.
