Charley Rossman as Max, His performance was heartfelt and true. Nice work. The film, Had a very nice B/W feel and the use of light was well conceived. The wrestling was well done and believable. Kudos and bravo.

Except for a few, the supporting roles were very well cast. But the lead really stood out. Charley/Max is a great listener and reacts truly. You could really sense his conflict and his courage. The resolution with the son was very sweet but not over the top. We especially liked the reflection in the poster shot, Max was right on there and it rang true. Charley Rossman is a character actor, who we've seen around but who we'd like to see a lot more of. The film was well directed by Jack Price, whom I don't know, but who has some nice sensibilities. The script by Sebastian Davis was knowing. A Fan
