    8/10
    :D
    Warning: Spoilers
The game is fantastic but with many problems that doesn't mean the game is bad I like the combat system a lot but it has problems like some attacks cant dodged right like daburas sword attack sometimes u can and sometimes not some boss fights are dumb like buus bomb where he explodes in a big range if u don't manage to block it will be a lot of damage even if u block it's pretty strong and the same goes for daburas sword but I like the great animation very very much it is a great throwback (great experience).

This game is just amazing crazy battles crazy anemia and amazing characters i love this game so much yes there are some things that were boring but it's a crazy game.
  • While this game does not deserve a perfect 10, it does deserve a low 9. This is the most ambitious a DBZ game has been since the Legacy of Goku series. It is what Legacy of Goku would be on a console. Unfortunately, it doesnt capture everything that it could have. This game would benefit greatly from a more improved combat system and improved side quests. I honestly wouldnt mind a Xenoverse Game like this that goes over Dragon Ball Heroes. Overall, I would love DLC for the movies, GT, and Super and maybe a prequel game later on.

If you are a fan of DBZ this is an outstanding game that brings you all the way from the Saiyan Saga right to the Buu Saga! Incredibly well done. Feels like a coles notes version of the tv series. Animation is very well done, story remains true to the tv series and for even someone like myself who isn't a fan of button masher fighting games, even the fight sequences are challenging and fun!
  • One of the best anime game ever, So I used to watch Dragon Ball Z anime around Year 2008 or 2009 and as well also have completed Dragon Ball Z supersonic game around Year 2016 or 2016 something like that, so my expectations for this game was high but when the day come to actually play the game by myself so my first reaction was just mind blowing, graphics or artsyle are beautiful, Voice acting is good and control are easy to understand so if you have watched or want to experience DBZ than this game is for you. I think only Drawback of this game is character Customization in clothing in main game.

This is absolutely one of the so called "love letter to the fans and the franchise". It took, once again, the Dragon Ball franchise to the RPG genre, with no multiplayer, just story focused. The animations are brutal, the recreation of stories we already know also are brutal.

I would a 100% recommend this game to anyone that wants to learn about the Dragon Ball serie without having to go through the whole progress of watching the entire anime.

It highlights the best moments of the saga and it summarizes everything very well.

The only thing that I have to say is that sometimes battles can get to be a little repetitive, but still, really enjoyable.
  • Despite being the thousandth time the dragon ball Z story has been adapted, this is the first game that lets players start at the beginning of Goku's story to the end. The game is an RPG that allows players to level up and customize Goku and friends as the game progresses. The game's highlights would have to be its engaging boss fights, cinematics, its great attempt to bridge sagas, and visual presentation. Unfortunately, the game loses a lot of points for its repetitive side quests, progressions system, often tedious combat, and lack of voice acting throughout the games semi-open world. Overall, I feel like the developers who made Kakarot can learn from what worked and what didn't and really make something truly amazing in the likely successor to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
