pretty watchable. it's a pathetic reality that female detectives once got married and have husbands and kids, they'd have difficulties to hold their families together. when the father/husband is a detective, he rarely got the opportunity to be always available for his family, his wife and his kids. like 'true detective', and many other similar genre police movies or TV series, male detectives often got lot of problems to deal with. but when watching 'donna detective', 'the killing' and the German detective TV series now broadcasting on klcs los angeles, the female detectives are obviously facing more difficulties than what the male detectives would encounter. no matter how tough they are, they are more fragile, more possible to break down and cry a lot, because most of the time, they have to deal with their husbands' infidelities, and their husbands' excuses are always just one: they couldn't deal with their wives' irregular working hours, their wives always put their jobs before families and marriage.
just because what female detectives have to deal with, even the daily things and matters happened around them are so common and so ordinary, such kind of TV series or movies are more felt realistic and more watchable.
