Following Jigsaw's grisly demise, Mark Hoffman is commended as a hero, but Agent Strahm is suspicious, and delves into Hoffman's past. Meanwhile, another group of people are put through a series of gruesome tests.
The original screenplay called for the characters played by Meagan Good and Julie Benz to go through most of their ordeal wearing just their undergarments. The production team decided against this when they realized how committed and serious the two actresses were about their roles.
You're a monster!
Brit: So are you.
Mallick: We both deserve to be here.
(at around 29 mins) When Agent Peter Strahm is looking at the list of victims and investigating detectives, Daniel Matthews is listed as a victim, but Daniel was found alive and in good health. The list includes any victims found alive - so far, at that point, Daniel was the only other known Jigsaw victim to be found alive (other than Amanda Young, who became Jigsaw's Apprentice).
Also available in an unrated director's cut version, which restores deleted scenes and the violence originally cut for an 'R' rating.
