Max & the Midknights was originally scheduled to premiere in 2023, but was delayed until October 2024.
This is the second Nickelodeon series to be adapted from a book series created by Lincoln Peirce. The first was Big Nate (2022).
Max & the Midknights could not be added to Paramount+ as part of a "strategic decision to focus on content with mass global appeal."
