Marty Browning, Independent, has 58 days to get himself elected or he loses his house, his sanity and his life. No-one wants one man to hold the balance of power.
Parts of the film were shot during the 2006 Victorian State Election in which the producers originally planned to enroll Marty Browning as a candidate. This idea was withdrawn after they realised that by doing so would be in breach of electoral laws that prohibit fictitious enrollments.
