Johnny Knoxville in Jackass Forever (2022)
Celebrating the joy of being back together with your best friends and a perfectly executed shot to the dingdong, the original jackass crew return for another round of hilarious, wildly absurd, and often dangerous displays of comedy with a little help from some exciting new cast. Johnny and the team push the envelope even further in jackass forever.

A little hit and miss but it's not from lack of commitment

It's wild to me that we got another 'Jackass' movie. I had no hope of getting another one after 3, however when the money runs out, the money runs out. I was always going to be interested to see just how far these guys were capable of pushing themselves. It turns out pretty far.

The movie has prolific nudity like we have never seen before from this series. There's always been full nudity here and there but they really ramped it up a notch this time around.

There are a number of new faces, including a female in the group this time around. Sadly not many of these newbies added much to the product. The had the odd moment here and there but mostly they weren't given a lot to do and just found themselves just standing around commenting on other's stunts.

The clips are pretty hit and miss. There are some classics in the mix, but there are also some that probably shouldn't have made the final cut as well. The opening and closing sequences were surprisingly dull and unmemorable I'm sad to say.

When it's good 'Jackass Forever' will have the entire cinema in stitches though, and while it couldn't come close to the consistent magic that 'Jackass Number Two' managed all those years back, it is still a very good time. If this is the last we ever see of this group then they can hang their heads up high. 8/10.

The expected lowbrow crap-- but I laughed a few times

This material is funniest when unsuspecting people are involved with it. When it's just the guys laughing at their own idiocy, I don't really care. When an oblivious woman yells, "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?" when a toilet explodes, I'm in.

Unfortunately, the innocent people segments were few and far between.

    Nothing really new here.

I grew up watching Jackass and have seen their other movies too. This current project is much of the same stunts without innovation or newness. For some reason or another, these guys aways seem to go back to skits involving their genitals in one way or another. It seems a bit homoerotic to me. That has always felt odd to me.

    Not the best entry.

Recycled bits and lots of dicks. Nothing really new just more of the same. I feel like some of the guys knew what was about to happen to them at times and they just played along. It had its moments but its not the same without the entire crew. They did put something in the end for Ryan which was cool. Overall though it was just ok.

    Jackass is back

You can't help but love the absolute lunacy of a jackass movie, and this installment is no docent. You'll laugh, you'll cringe, and you'll definitely yell "oooohhh" many times.

    • Trivia
Jason 'Wee Man' Acuña said out of all the 4 Jackass movies, "this one hurt the most".
    • Goofs
During the Dum Dum game, Johnny Knoxville asks Jason 'Wee Man' Acuña, "What family of instruments does the piano belong to?" Wee Man answers, "Strings," but Knoxville replies that the piano is a percussion instrument. Wee Man gets whacked in the genitals for getting the wrong answer.

However, the piano is considered by many to be both a stringed and a percussion instrument, so Wee Man was not technically incorrect. According to the Hornbostel-Sachs system, a system that classifies musical instruments, the piano belongs to the percussive chordophone family.

      [from trailer]

Steve-O: Concussions aren't great, but as long as you have them before you're 50, it's cool, and Knoxville is 49, so we're good.
