Antonio Adamo added Casanova to his roster of historical figures adapted to Adult Cinema, but unlike some of his best work (Cleopatra or Roma) he offers little history or drama. This one's all about beautiful women in elaborate costumes and wigs, humped by Mr. C and his friends.
It comes late in his cycle of big-budget productions for Private Media, before he decamped to work at the then-new daring! Media outfit. Giorgio Grandi makes for a rather one-dimensional (the length of his dick) Casanova, while the ladies are familiar members of Adamo's troupe, including such striking actresses as Sharka Blue, Lydia St. Martin, Natalli DiAngelo and Sarah Twain.
