Ken Park, a doctor pursuing a career in comedy, has been offered a great opportunity: A starring role in Dan Harmon’s new comedy about a group of misfits at a community college.
Park is a bit of a goofball, so ultimately Harmon writes the part of Señor Chang, an eccentric Spanish teacher, for the comedian. Sound familiar?
The Season 2 finale of Ken Jeong’s ABC sitcom “Dr. Ken” rips a page out of real life, sort of. “Community” creator Dan Harmon guest stars as, you guessed it, Dan Harmon (playing a particularly surly version of himself). Also appearing:
Alison Brie – who played Annie on the show, opposite Jeong’s Chang – and a few other familiar faces from the show, including recurring actors Erik Charles Nielsen (Garrett), Danielle Kaplowitz (Vicki), Richard Erdman (Leonard), and Luke Youngblood (Magnitude – pop pop!).
“The word ‘surreal’ was pervasive,” Jeong said of having Harmon on set.

Indian Summer, autumn’s first batch of orange-hued fallen leaves and New York Comic Con have all tumbled away, relegated to that odd intersection of fond memories and the comfortable knowledge of their inevitable return. The New York Comic Con, now the nation’s largest geek culture convention, seems to change each year. And after more than a decade of growth, it’s changing in many weird and wonderful ways.
I’ve been there from the beginning and, during the early years worked, on the show. We had a vision for the convention and it’s succeeded beyond our wildest dreams. And in many ways … it hasn’t.

It's a little weird to watch a trailer for an upcoming Disney cartoon like "Planes" and hear among the characters the voice of Dane Cook. What's a typically adults-only comic like Cook doing in the G-rated world of a Disney animated feature?
Well, maybe it's not that weird. After all, the family-friendly studio has a history, going back 60 years, of casting performers from the world of grown-up entertainment in its cartoons, and most have proved they can be fun and kid-safe in fantasy worlds far from smoky nightclubs. In fact, Disney and Pixar's classic cartoons are full of unlikely voice actors -- not just blue comics but also performers cast radically against type, and even people not considered actors at all.
Cook, then, joins a distinguished list of stars you'd never have expected to find in a Disney cartoon feature, as you can see from the gallery below.

There were times during Community’s fourth season where I felt things couldn’t possibly get any worse. The changes made to the show creatively gave us couple of the worst episodes this show has ever put out, but I still managed to remain vaguely hopeful for the future. At the start of the season I made note of how things would have to play out naturally for Community to ever be truly great again. The new showrunners had to figure out their own way to run the show post Dan Harmon and the last few episodes have shown a greater confidence in their work. Things have been funnier, more heartfelt, and generally felt like the show we used to know. The only thing that was left was to see if this new version of the show could handle what it was known best for in the past: genre bending.

Chennai, Nov 21: Popular Telugu comedian M.S. Narayana, known for his work in "Dookudu", "King" and "Ready", feels comedy is an art and everybody can't champion it.
"In my career spanning over two decades, I've never felt that comedy is a department everybody can excel in because it's an art and only a few are blessed with the talent to entertain. Several people have come and gone as comedians, while only a few managed to be successful," Narayana told Ians.
The 61?year?old feels comedy can't be forced upon someone.
"Very few have the talent to make others laugh without being laughed at. You can't just expect anyone to turn comedian.

Movie Review: "Denikaina Ready"; Star Cast: Vishnu Manchu, Hansika Motwani, Prabhu Suman, Sita Brahmanandam, M.S Narayana and Avs; Director: G. Nageswara Reddy; Rating: *** - cliched yet entertaining.
If you have an appetite for cliched, brainless comedy then Vishnu Manchu's "Denikaina Ready" is not to be missed at any cost. From the director of highly successful comedy entertainers such as "Seema Shastry" and "Seema Tapakai", comes yet another non-stop comical treat with a story that's been milked dry over the years.
Vishnu plays Sulaiman aka Krishna Shastry,.

Last year, during the press rounds for "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," director David Fincher told me that Daniel Craig was quite funny. I took Fincher at his word -- but the thought, Wait, really? did pop into my head at least twice.
As host of "Saturday Night Live," Craig seemed raring to go -- he was practically screaming, "I want to prove to you that I am funny! No, really, I am!" Unfortunately, for the most part, the material just wasn't there. (Put it this way: In the three-year history of "SNL" Scorecard, this is the longest I've just stared at my computer thinking, Well, I guess I have to pick something to be "Sketch of the Night," right?) I hate second-guessing (even though that's what I'm paid to do here, I suppose), but I think the better strategy with Craig might have been to let him play...

Plus, whose honeymoon has to be put 'on hold?' Stop reading now if you don't want to get spoiled! 90210's fourth season finale left us with a parade of unanswered questions, and The CW's official description for the show's Oct. 15 episode, "The Sea Change," pretty much answers them all — including whether or not Dixon (Tristan Wilds) survived his head-on collision with a tractor trailer. Ready for some eyebrow-raising spoilers? Let's do this: 1. Honeymoon blues: It sounds like Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) and Max (Josh Zuckerman) definitely say "I do" on the premiere — but it's not exactly a happily-ever-after ending for the couple. On the Oct. 15 episode, Max learns that "his whirlwind wedding has caused a public relations problem and lowered [his] tech company’s stock price." 2. Adrianna's stage-5 clinger: Adrianna's (Jessica Lowndes) one-night stand Taylor (Wes Brown) might be extending his stay in her bed. They apparently spend lots of unexpected...

It has been quite sometime since we have seen Asin Thottumkal grace the big screen with her talent. She was appreciated with many awards for her portrayal of Kalpana in Ghajini and for her performance in London Dreams; however, one can sit and imagine how silly it must have been for Asin to do work so sparingly with two big budget, successful films under her belt. Some may say that this is the sign of a brilliant actress in the making, taking time between films and dedicating herself to one role at a time, but this can also be attribute to a lack of film offers as well. Only time will tell.
However, to keep our eyes busy for the time being, Asin will be seen opposite Salman Khan in the upcoming film Ready, and she is all praise for the Bollywood superstar. According to Asin, Salman is an extremely...
