Amusing picture packing twisted relationships , romantic comedy , dances with enjoyable sensuality and including agreeable melodies .
Entertaining and fun musical comedy with fine actors and attractive musical numbers that was a limited success at Spanish box office . It is a funny picture dealing with couple relationships , jealousy , lies , family conflicts and many other things . Claudia (Angie Cepeda) at her thirties is a happily married woman to Germán (Diego Martin) but has a lover named Pablo (Quim Gutierrez) with whom she is very much in love . When gets tired from her and looking for a new girlfriend , he meets Elena (Miren Ibarguren) . Later on , Claudia decides to fight for him with the help of her sister Monica (Juan Acosta) . Together they hatch a plan to take him away from his sweetheart , so easily seduce him . Then , all of them fall in love for him .
Screwball comedy seasoned with musical numbers and professionally directed by David Serrano . Romantic Spanish comedy with good actors , spectacular musical numbers singing charming songs , and nice direction . It is not surprising to recourse this Musical Comedy genre carried out by the same writer of ''The Other Side of the Bed'' and ''The two sides of the bed'' . The best parts of the movie are the choreographic numbers and known songs adapted in original model with roots in pop music of the eighties ; recreating the essence of the classic songs by body movements accompanying sensual melodies and lyrics . This is a charming musical comedy including love stories in which there are twisted messes , as well as the ordinary Spanish clichés . Colorful story of loves and jealousy in which predominates songs and musical spectacle . It has some moments of enjoyment as well as amusement and others quite a few embarrassing . Regular and unbalanced , but gaining the sympathy almost at all times . Bad timing results to be the voice of the singers with the actors , it is less achieved . Angie Cepeda is the only cast member who did her own singing . Main actors as Quim Gutierrez , Juana Acosta , Angie Cepeda steal the show , interpreters who provided a considerable boost to the result . All of them play and dance wonderful and classic Spanish songs , including catching soundtrack by great composer Bingen Mendizabal . Support cast is frankly good such as Miren Ibarguren , Isabel Ordaz , Kitie Manver , Diego Martin and screen-writer David Serrano wrote the role of Eduardo specifically for 'Eduardo Blanco' . Furthermore , dances and choreography are pretty well , following Emilio Martinez Lazaro's ¨El Otro Lado De La Cama" style , "Scandalous" or ¨¿ Porque Se Frotan Patitas ¿¨ (2006) by Alvaro Begines and in French cinema wake , such as François Ozon' ¨Potiche¨ and ¨Eight Women¨ . Glamorous and brilliant cinematography by Teo Delgadoc.
Shot in more than 30 natural locations of the island of Tenerife, the film had a fairly large budget in the case of Spanish cinema . Still , the public turned away , probably driven away by the mediocre reviews that accused it of having somewhat bland musical numbers and a cast that failed to dazzle . The faces that populate the film are television players such as Angie Cepeda (''Protected'' ,"Captain Pantoja and the Special Services") and Miren Ibarguren (''Aida'') , both of whom are fighting for Quim Gutiérrez ('' AzulOscuroCasiNegro '') that is converted here like the Spanish Hugh Grant . The motion picture was well directed by David Serrano , as no big deal , the flick is acceptable and decent . However , accustomed to the successes of other blockbusters as ''Days of football'' director Serrano failed to convince this time to criticism or public . David Serrano was born in 1975 in Madrid , location in which he often shoots his movies . He is a writer , known for ¨Días De Fútbol¨ (2003), ¨El Otro Lado De La Cama¨ (2002) , and this ¨Una Hora Más En Canarias¨ (2010) and is filming ¨Tenemos Que Hablar¨ with Hugo Silva and Michelle Jenner .
