Bad acting, thin storyline. Purely made for political gain.
Sad.
This movie is the evidence any conspiracy theorist would love to have in support of whatever theory they want to spin. And the fact that it is an independent movie with a low budget and actors that don't quite grab your attention will only cement their theory that this movie was not supported by "the establishment".
I saw it until the end and although the screenplay outlines a Machiavellian conspiracy theory that most certainly is wicked, expansive, and very, very sadistic in a way, the problem is that the performances are not enough to save it, in my humble opinion.
I am a person who usually loves all the movies, but this one feels more like a high school project in a way, and although that it is not inherently bad, you can say that the actors were either not motivated enough or felt so strongly against their roles that they sentenced the movie to an early demise.
Wilma Elles was the one who had to carry the emotional burden of the movie, and with all the loss and pain that she was supposed to be feeling, one would think she would be raw, willing to go down in flames and ready to fight to the death, yet you don't even manage to emotionally connect with her pain, and that is saying a lot.
There is time wasted and the actors used were amateurs
I would tell you that this is the worst movie on Earth, but just in case some microbe on Mars decided to reboot "My Giant", I'll go ahead and include the whole solar system.
Nothing about this ridiculous thing is good in any sense of the word. Micheal Pere looks barely awake starring as the most caring uncaring deadbeat dad ever. In a plotline nobody could possibly care about, he mumbles stuff like "Mmmm sorry" over the phone to a son who couldn't care less. Then he ages and pretends to shoot a gun for about 90 minutes.
The plot concerns a "whistleblower" who is purported to be coming clean about how the "liberal conspiracy" is gaying up 'Merica or something, and illuminati bortion Soros blah blah incels. Naturally, she's targeted for termination by about five guys who don't have any tactical gear and look like someone dressed the neighborhood dads up for a paintball game. Pere literally blasts at them casually, like he's using the other hand to play Angry Birds or something.
The woman starring alongside him is, as best as I can figure, the Melania Trump of actresses. I'd tell you her acting is worse than watching a seventh grade pothead try to give a book report on particle physics, but it isn't because that report is far better. She also has another security guy who stands around and apparently reads his lines off a floating etch a sketch.
The acting is awful, the plot is ridiculous, and the directing and special effects would get someone thrown off the free trial of Photoshop. Watch this movie if you really want to punish yourself.
A CEO of leading communication company reveals dark side of various fields like Hollywood, media, male-female inequality, transgender people etc. But powerful society engaged in these fields are trying to eliminate her, then he hires a sniper to protect her. It was a good subject and movie could have been much better. Gunning sequences are totally foolish and stupid. I give 3 stars only for different an bold subject, else there is nothing to watch movie.
