  • If you want to learn how NOT to make a film, you need to watch this.

I normally don't write that many reviews. This had so many potentials, but was ruined by bad directing, poor lighting, and playground action scenes. With all the experience that Michael Pare' has, you would think he would have said something about how this film was shot. Maybe something like, "Why in the hell would I stand out in the open for a half hour and let these idiot mercenaries empty their clips on me"? Sadly, many will give this a poor rating due to its political nature, instead of the technical issues that it suffers from. I do hope the writer, director, and editor watches his own film and learns from his mistakes. He had a decent story, some good actors and money to burn. What a waste.
  • A CEO of leading communication company reveals dark side of various fields like Hollywood, media, male-female inequality, transgender people etc. But powerful society engaged in these fields are trying to eliminate her, then he hires a sniper to protect her. It was a good subject and movie could have been much better. Gunning sequences are totally foolish and stupid. I give 3 stars only for different an bold subject, else there is nothing to watch movie.

When a whistle blower decides to divulge everything they know about the liberal media in a believable way after losing their family and the ruling elites leverage over them to keep them in line. Soon assassins are sent to remove the whistle blower and they suck at their job.

To defend her she has a friend and a hired Sergeant Major, who is as bad a shot as the merc's coming for her. If your looking for an action story, your not getting it. Some of the shots missed even Stevie Wonder could hit.

The undertone stays though as corporations, media, and the powers that be try to control everything we do in different ways, and make us debt slaves, and unhappy and beneath them, for the higher ups benefit which many people can relate too.

It just felt spoiled by poor dialogue, poor acting especially when a sniper can't shoot through concrete walls, you leave a house to run away. The message of the movie was refreshing, the execution poor at best.

Why perez still gets funding for making movies that look like a practical joke is beyond me. The movies are horrible. Tbe editing looks like it was done by a 3 year old and it looks like they hired a teenage acting coach because every actor is terrible. Just quit while you're ahead... Even though clearly you're not.
  • There is time wasted and the actors used were amateurs
  • Bad acting, thin storyline. Purely made for political gain. Sad.
  • I would tell you that this is the worst movie on Earth, but just in case some microbe on Mars decided to reboot "My Giant", I'll go ahead and include the whole solar system. Nothing about this ridiculous thing is good in any sense of the word. Micheal Pere looks barely awake starring as the most caring uncaring deadbeat dad ever. In a plotline nobody could possibly care about, he mumbles stuff like "Mmmm sorry" over the phone to a son who couldn't care less. Then he ages and pretends to shoot a gun for about 90 minutes. The plot concerns a "whistleblower" who is purported to be coming clean about how the "liberal conspiracy" is gaying up 'Merica or something, and illuminati bortion Soros blah blah incels. Naturally, she's targeted for termination by about five guys who don't have any tactical gear and look like someone dressed the neighborhood dads up for a paintball game. Pere literally blasts at them casually, like he's using the other hand to play Angry Birds or something. The woman starring alongside him is, as best as I can figure, the Melania Trump of actresses. I'd tell you her acting is worse than watching a seventh grade pothead try to give a book report on particle physics, but it isn't because that report is far better. She also has another security guy who stands around and apparently reads his lines off a floating etch a sketch. The acting is awful, the plot is ridiculous, and the directing and special effects would get someone thrown off the free trial of Photoshop. Watch this movie if you really want to punish yourself.

Boring woman talking all the time then some action Great it is not one person takes on many but no one get killed easy with all the shooting they have machine guns with sights you see the sight on someone but they still miss. Then a sniper shots and gets a perfect shot. Then at the end part a man shots a woman with a machine gun and misses most shots she has a hand gun then he shots her.best bit at the end was a fight between two men and one gets his face bashed and his eye falls out before he is killed. Then the hero goes to his son he never saw for years and give him a bag full of cash. Then back to video of the dead ceo woman talking more rubbish. The End at last."......
  • Well I really didn't care about the action sequences and shooting I cared about the content of the storyline in my opinion the message is reached out and the media it doesn't matter which side coming from just got exposed politicians are nr 1 liars this movie should have had higher budget and would be a hit
  • OK, the movie is LOW budge and poorly acted, but pretty on point about how the MSM, Lib gov and educational system are brainwashing the masses. Sadly, the Sheep and will never watch this movie to see exactly what Sheep they really are. People that will watch this movie already know and don't buy into the Leftists Globalist goals. I am surprised that IMBD even allowed it on here for people to find.
  • Are You seeking any entertainment? If you are, this movie is not for You. All action scenes are almost comical in their execution, but this is not what the story is about, is it? If I were to rate this movie for "entertainment", I would rate it as "One" star!!

Actually, it is about a Hollywood Whistle-blower!! The core of the content revolves around the revelations of a CEO in the Entertainment World. Are You willing to listen - intently - and reflect on every word this CEO states? Exposing such knowledge to the world at large is a death sentence for her, and this is stated at the very outset of the movie. She is fully aware of the dire consequences of her actions, and this is why Michael Pare' is hired as her bodyguard.

Whether her shocking statements are real or fake is irrelevant, actually. Whatever their contents, they are meant to make you think, very deeply... Do her words sound hollow or true to your ears? Only You can decide that for yourself....and that's what this is all about!!

Instead of entertaining You, this film is about throwing you off-balance, and forcing you to engage your mental gears to analyze what this blonde is so passionately revealing. It all sounds fantastic and far-fetched, but what if.....???

You have to make up your mind whether or not anything this lady says is fact or fiction. A most unorthodox movie that makes you wonder what is really going on.... One of the most thought-provoking movies I've ever watched (hence the Ten Star Rating). Can you believe her, or not?? Should You?

    Warning: Spoilers
There is a bold message about messages we get from movies , all within a poorly acted movie, which perhaps has a hidden message about our age of viruses and media control. I give it six stars because it talks about how the 1% -as they call it -has an end game, to release a virus. How did this writer, Director, cameraman come up with all this? His past movies include Cabal.

Obviously it's made on a super low budget, the lead German actress seems to be searching for her lines. Often she is unintelligible. But hidden in the dialog there is a confronting message and the lead protagonist knows she will die to expose it.

The director wanted to make an quasi-action film and created the worst shoot outs in film history thanks to her hired bodyguard. Perhaps you will get a laugh: endless bullets which always miss, people taking fire but look down to reload their clips, Bruce Lee Kung fu rapid punching to body armor! So bad it's bad but not sad. I looked at these fight scenes like grandpa looks at children okay fighting.

Nevertheless, the cuts back to the lead whistleblower have compelling dialog that fits the sociology of our times in a remarkable way.

This movie is the evidence any conspiracy theorist would love to have in support of whatever theory they want to spin. And the fact that it is an independent movie with a low budget and actors that don't quite grab your attention will only cement their theory that this movie was not supported by "the establishment". I saw it until the end and although the screenplay outlines a Machiavellian conspiracy theory that most certainly is wicked, expansive, and very, very sadistic in a way, the problem is that the performances are not enough to save it, in my humble opinion. I am a person who usually loves all the movies, but this one feels more like a high school project in a way, and although that it is not inherently bad, you can say that the actors were either not motivated enough or felt so strongly against their roles that they sentenced the movie to an early demise. Wilma Elles was the one who had to carry the emotional burden of the movie, and with all the loss and pain that she was supposed to be feeling, one would think she would be raw, willing to go down in flames and ready to fight to the death, yet you don't even manage to emotionally connect with her pain, and that is saying a lot.
  • The Insurrection is a pathetic film that is mainly a bunch of dialog about conspiracy theories. The directer could have just done a documentary but its a really terrible propaganda with a bunch of lousy action scenes in it.

Its about a politically liberal woman who wants to pull the plug on liberal conspiracies so she hires a ex con to protect her while she gives interviews. Im guessing its just things that goes against the filmmakers beliefs. Its like a movie that does not want us to watch movies. Mainstream ones anyway. The woman is pretty hard to understand because of her strong accent. Why give her the important dialog?

I really hated this film. Even ramblings of extreme conservatives or liberals on Youtube would be better than this. Its a film with a agenda. And why is Micheal Pare in this film for?
  • Even thought it is supposedly written in a fictional way the content in my opinion prefectly describes what is currently happening in the world. Divid and Conquer. Wreck families, the building blocks of civilzation, cause infighting in society over race and inequality so that people are dumbed down becoem wage slaves, shackled to their consumerism etc.

Have a view and see it you disagree? If you do better have a look at the film Idiocracy which perfectly reflects where we are headed if we don't get our heads out of the sand.
  • I watched the show and I was amazed that it was to to date what is happening in this country including in mentioning the left and the right what is happening in the schools teaching little girls to be little boys, little boys to be little girls I was shocked in Hollywood what they're doing with showing us what they want us to see and that the woman that was part of the left in the end wanted to tell the truth and she did and the government killed her it is amazing and all people that are Trump supporters have to watch this movie. I am amazed that this was able to be released.

This is one of the best movies I've watched. It's am eye opener and encourages processing information from the media critically before accepting it as the truth or norm.

Eye opening. Watch it and you might see things differently.
  • The Insurrection written and directed by Rene Perez once again delivers from this talented director. We are introduced to Joan Schafer(Wilma Elles). She is part of the Illuminati. A society she was part of but now wants out. Joan is what you can call the ultimate whistle blower. She wants to alert society what we are being brainwashed to believe. Joan makes this bold and truthful statement, "How we are but pawns for the powerful, the hungry masses that heartily sup upon the most potent of elixirs supplied by the small glowing screens we carry in our pocket." Her idea of broadcasting live brings a select few to report this at a secret hideaway. She reveals all the secrets and plans that her group has executed on society. The reporters come and interview her. Some think she is nuts for putting her self in such jeopardy. By doing this she puts a target on her back and will ultimately make her a target for assassination. Michael Pare plays ex military veteran Sergeant Major. We are introduced to him being released from prison. He is reluctant at first and puzzled why Joan bails him out of prison. His main duty is to keep her alive. So while he is outside taking down one assassinator after another she is doing live broadcasts with the reporters inside. Each report draws more and more attempts on her life. Sergeant Majors skillfully takes down one person after another. He is the ultimate killing machine and does so with such ease. He has no fear and has his own demons eating him alive. His military life was priority over his own family which he pretty much Deserted. Finally there is to much for him to handle and they are surrounding the hideaway and closing in on her. Will she have had enough time and broadcasts to reveal them or will they assassinate her and Silence her. Joan's loyal friends played by Rebecca Tarabocchia and Joseph Camilleri round out the main characters who do a great job keeping her safe and being loyal to her and her cause. The movie takes two genres action and political conspiracy. It really melds them together flawlessly and turns out a great concept. This formula never bores the viewers but has you really listening to the well written script. A script that reflects and covers events in today's society with a bold approach that does not shy away from its statements. Michael Pare proves he can still play lead in a well cast part for him. He doesn't just play a no brain Bodyguard, but a full rounded well developed character you really feel for. Rene Perez really has a story here that surprised me. I was expected a shoot them Up and possible romance between Sergeant And Joan. Which would be typical in this type of movie. But no all the topics covered in her interviews hit home. Our freedom and what makes us Americans are at stake here. Technically the movie is visually entertaining. Rene is unique with his style and really puts you in the action. The camera work here is well thought out and really enjoyable. I really liked the POV of the shooting scenes. I almost felt like I was in a video game. The hideaway house is well used inside out. The feeling of seclusion is done well and really used to the fullest. The outdoor scenes with the would be assassins are really fun and had me tensing up a few Times. Everyone from cast to crew did a great job. I really look forward to a re-teaming of Pare and Perez in the future. There is food chemistry and they seem to both work of each other's talents and make a great presentation.
  • Not being a "sheep" has its benefits! I have a clear, open, good mind. I'm not influenced by "nay-sayers"! I read all the reviews and criticisms but STILL felt exhilarated by this gem. I enjoyed the plot, the story-line, the "video-game" type of approach to the action. I would highly recommend this movie! I thoroughly enjoyed it... I'm a pacifist and STILL found it educational.
  • A documentary like movie Amateur cast but nice to see if you are curious enough to know how the deep state mess with your life
  • Let's be honest, this low budget film wasn't made to entertain. It was made to expose how Hollywood politically manipulates the masses. Its story has been told in countless documentaries and is easy to see if you're looking. Let's hope this helps wake up the masses.
  • Let's be honest, this isn't a quality film made to entertain. This is put together to expose Hollywood corruption and influence in our politics...and it couldn't be more appropriate.
  • Warning: Spoilers
Nice movie! Truth telling! Unbaised! Less tricks and fiction. Truth must be told, and everyone have the right to know what's going on and as well knowing and why to react. Political science ina movie.
  • Well if you watch Fox News all day long you'll love this. They tell the truth about how they use the media to lie to Their audience and then like they always do they switch on at the last second and say it's everyone else's fault, liberas and Democrats, that the main star blond who's not even American who was supposed to speak for the liberal party when in actuality it's like a husband cheating on his wife he's doing all the bad stuff that once he gets home he accuses his wife of doing everything in detail that he did take take the blame off himself Sean Hannity's new movie sure Trump approves
