  • Paul Thomas's greatness as Adult Cinema director is unquestioned but he also ground out tons of junk in his career, often using "Judy Blue" as his cover moniker. This vintage Vivid title is as lousy as the hundreds of B. Skow imitations that followed.

His immediately recognizable dulcet tones on the soundtrack as interviewer reveal PT as the culprit, asking inane questions of a femme cast ranging from superstars like Stephanie Swift (who was only in the biz 2 years when this was shot, per her own admission) to some nonentities like Lexy (aka Lexi Leigh). Hence the title: Show and Tell.

While the girls are expounding on their uneventful life histories some old footage, rendered in black & white, shows previous assignments, from which archive shots I identified various folk like Marc Wallice (who also served as cameraman on some of the new footage), Jon Dough and Steven St. Croix. In the new shoots Alex Sanders gets to hump Kobe Tai, but he is inexplicably not credited. Kobe get top billing as a Vivid Girl, and has another scene in threesome with Claudio and Gina Rome.

Obviously, easily pleased fans who simply want sex rather than story/acting/characters (their legion has only increased in the two decades since this was shot) will be pleased to stare at Swift, Kobe, Julie Rage and the like. I found it a waste of time, hardly worth Vivid's while of reissuing it on DVD for suckers like me.
