Flat out fun.

This is a bit overdone, but in the best way. It kept my attention, because I was never sure what was going to happen when. No, I don't mean with Joan and Barbra - we all know what happened to them, I mean with the characters in the play "Driftwood" - the play that brought them together.

While it's a 25 minute short, the true characters were well-developed and easy to like.

Obviously I liked and appreciated it - the 8 stars show that.

Watch it. Relax. Enjoy it!

"Driftwood" ran from January 15 to March 1 1959 at the Garret Theater, 49thStreet, NYC, which was, literally, the garret/ attic of playwright Maurice Tei Dunn's 55th floor apartment, into which he fitted forty seats. Although Joan Rivers frequently repeated the story dramatized here, Dunn recalled that his play contained no lesbian scene, and indeed Rivers and Barbra Streisand shared no scenes.
