| Some redeeming qualities, but largely nonsensical
The lead character, Tyler, has come to New York City after receiving a frantic call for help from her sister Jessica. Tyler arrives and encounters a small group of enigmatic people who seem bent on keeping Jessica isolated.

Much of this movie is taken up by a chase sequence that doesn't make any sense. Without giving away too much plot, I'll just say that running around downtown Manhattan in broad daylight, with a working cell phone and hundreds of people everywhere, trying to "hide" from a few individuals trying to kill you, really doesn't make any sense. Dial 911, find a cop (which isn't difficult in that area), or just start shouting "help", and your problem is most likely solved. The sunlight and the many obvious methods of salvation seriously hindered any suspense or thrill potential the movie had built up to that point.

The acting was usually (but not always) decent, especially on the part of the beautiful lead. The camera and sound work were also decent. The artsy editing style and focus effects got annoying at times, but it would be naive to go into a New York indie film without expecting such things.
