When Greg opens the school door at the start of the movie, a trash can is knocked over and is completely full. Over the summer, the trash cans would have been emptied and it was the begging of the first day back and so would've been almost empty.
The 75th Anniversary variant of the animated 20th Century Fox logo at the beginning of the movie changes to a cartoonified version. The word "CENTURY" appears to be shaded.
