Candle in the Tomb: The Lost Caverns

I can't wait for the next SEASON!!!!!!!! The HU BAYI and WANG PANGZI are just so real from the ficition-adapted TV series! ! This one is just toooooooooooo GREAT!!!!!!!!

Very nice pace, and great special effects. Combining with Chinese Yi Jing and Go techniques (? or knowledge). Very satisfying. And only 18 episodes, no stretching or wasting time on unrelated parts. Waiting for the next season by this team!

Before the broadcast, the audience was most worried about whether Chen Yulou and Hu Bayi were both played by Pan Yueming. Personally, I didn't. Moreover, the director specially designed a bridge section for Chen Yulou to touch Hu Bayi's bones, saying that he looked like himself when he was young, so as to reasonably resolve the audience's concerns. With the cooperation of Fu Huadao, Hu Bayi and Chen Yulou are quite different. Since many years ago, fans of the original work have expected Jiang Chao to play Wang pangzi. At that time, "Li Dazui" was really suitable to play Wang pangzi, but years have left traces on his face. Jiang Chao's acting skills are very good, and he is also working very hard to say Wang pangzi's humorous words, but we missed his "best state". This was well done. I think this must have been a huge budget. Actors played their characters well and the funny parts are hilarious. The music that supports the actors makes a scene complete. Lot of great camera work. Tomb after tomb were so well designed and planned. The stairs, I am still trying to figure out in my head how such a tomb must have worked. I thought off a moebius ring at first, but then we have the gravity issue. Once all characters are introduced and they were going into the tomb, episode after episode I sat on the edge of my seat in suspense. Really can't think off something negative about this series, so 10 out of 10
