A freebie thrown in the box with my recent order of DVDs, SECRETARY'S DAY #2 is a surprisingly watchable though overlong gonzo porn feature from Kevin Moore, a crew guy who has become an auteur (though with nothing exceptional to his name) in his own right. He pops up frequently in non-sex roles to add a personal stamp to the formula sex.
I was surprised to see that this one was up for industry awards, but in fact it is better than average -not saying much unfortunately given the low (no?) standards of gonzo video craft. The five lengthy vignettes are basically just pretty girls in an office having sex with co-workers or visitors. Result is lots of anal sex, girls wearing glasses, lesbian sex, troilism, mixed-combo action and facials. Femme performers recruited for the occasion are top-drawer, with Tori Black perhaps the sexiest, but Jenna Haze and Rachel Starr dependable.
I'm getting accustomed to these minor ventures extending to LAWRENCE OF ARABIA running times, now that it is firmly established that they're not trying to be ersatz movies but in fact have become simply overlong vignettes strung together (the BRAZZERS formula).
