As homicide detective Thomas Craven investigates the death of his activist daughter, he uncovers not only her secret life, but a corporate cover-up and government collusion that attracts an agent tasked with cleaning up the evidence.
In the miniseries, the music was done by Eric Clapton and the late Michael Kamen, who composed the music for the Lethal Weapon film franchise, starring Mel Gibson. In this film, Howard Shore composed the music. He was originally considered to compose Ron Howard's Ransom (1996) starring Mel Gibson, but was replaced by James Horner, who composed for Mel Gibson, Ron Howard, and Martin Campbell.
Senator Jim Pine:
You left as a Master Sergeant of a heavy weapons platoon.
Thomas Craven: Ah, yes sir.
Senator Jim Pine: How'd you do that at 20?
Thomas Craven: Everybody else was dead.
When Craven intentionally backs into his two pursuers in the SUV he is on Washington street between West Dartmouth and Union park - directly in front of the Boston Cathedral. But on the subsequent news report, the incident is reported as taking place on Arlington Street.
