That overworked (nearly to death) term "chemistry" is apparent in spades in the teaming of Alison Rey as a famous writer and Shyla Jennings as her fanatical stalker of a fan in Missa X's "Calamity".
The two actresses hold the screen in this one-acter of an XXX romance with great presence, and even comic relief is integrated seamlessly with the gradual seduction. I was expecting girl/girl "Misery" from the Stephen King canon given the subject/story but this is far better and without gimmickry.
Missa X brings realism plus artistry to a genre that usually comes off phony, especially in the work of rival labels like Girlfriends (amateur night dialog improv), Girlsway (facetious, silly tone) or Sweetheart (overly slick in the post-Nica Noelle era).
