A young man has only ten days to locate his soulmate as dictated by the stars, otherwise he could lose a fortune. He thus embarks on a journey through love, looking through twelve girls to find the one who fits his horoscope.
The title is a clever bilingual mix. While "Raashee" means sun sign (Aries, Sagittarius, etc.) in its Indian language, it also sounds like "rush" in English, as in "What's your rush?" - very apropo for a man dating rapidly down a line of twelve astrological signs trying to find a bride among them in ten days.
Marriage is a sort of contract, is it not? There was a time when our parents used to negotiate this. Now it's the new generation. The boys and girls settle it amongst themselves.
