This is pretty much what you get when someone is inexorably intoxicated by their own presumed genius. When, because of admiration of your audience, you imagine that everything that comes out of your hands is a miracle of the created world. Honestly, it's very sad to see.
Bonus point for the potato camera that Lynch used to capture this gem. He managed to reach the standard of an amateur elementary school film club product, but just barely. It seems it is not David who will curve Youtube to himself, but it's Youtube curving David to itself.
